General Discussions - Non 300ZX

How do you fancy this one ? A centrally placed hotel sometime in Xmas where we arrange to have a Xmas bash, would include a 3 course meal, drinks and a bed for the night. It would be a great laugh and i'm sure if we get enough numbers we could get a great deal. We'd have to book soon though as all these places get booked up with Xmas works partys. Would you be interested in this ?

Hi All, What should i be looking at doing first after a service, its going in for a service on Tuesday but i want to do some mods. How is the cooling system on these things, i had a RX7 and they suffered with overheating these the same. Cheers Andy :)

Well here tis, The car appears standard apart from ride height but the guy who sold it to me was an importer not an enthusiast...he didnt know anything about the car.. I have just got home with it so I dont know much either....it has after market suspension you can see from the pictures thats its been slammed. Does anybody know what the little four coloured adjuster on top of the strut is attached to - some sort of coilover I wager ...its a circular disc about 15mm with four coloured segments..any ideas...is it TEIN. Great car to drive / quite lively and nimble NOT A BARGE..... :D Id dare say not much difference in size (SWB Remember) to an MR2 SW20…

My girlfriend is a foster home for animals, basically she looks after them while they are re-homed. About 3 months ago she was given 2 chinchillas which has previously been abused. They are currently in desperate need of rehoming. So the question is, would anyone on here like a pair of chinchillers? They are a male and a female, sterelised so you wont end up with 100's of them! They are now in good health and very active (i spent half an hour trying to catch one of them and am now catching my breath back on here :rofl:). They are both 8 years old, and are expected to live up to 20 years. They are adorable animals and make great pets, however I would not recomm…

lol....This may have some bearing on the noise level me thinks :rolleyes: Not sure why it did what it did but i was doin about 70mph ;) and one of the old re-circ blanking plugs(had new ones made now) popped out and caused it to misfire and it would only rev to about 4500 max with the symptoms of a dodgy maf but within a few secounds the exhaust tone suddenly doubled and I think this was the reason...the middle box had shot its load :shock: but why did it blow a hole 5" hole in it? Anyone?

Took the car for a spin this afternoon for the first time in months! It started up first time and apart from the noisey lifters which soon disappeared (as usual when cars been sitting for so long) it runs perfectly. Speedo doesn't work because of a dodgy speed sensor but it was like that before all the work was done so no surprise. Non of new belts screeched, don't know if thats a good thing. For some reason now though its idling at 1200rpm even though it idled perfectly at 700ish for first 10-15 mins :confused: A list of all the work done... So thankyou lord for the nice weather, driving down my favourite country lanes with the T-tops off and the music up with the sun beating down really reminded me why I'm not selling up and am going to work on improving the Zed after it's Sorned.
