Do any of you ntl broadband users on here have an ntl : 250 modem? (It's the small blue one most people who got ntl broadband since feb will have one, also it says so on the bottom of the modem). If so please would you be able to locate the drivers on the cd, zip em up and then send them to me on msn or via hotmail please? I have been searching for hours and hours and cannot locate them online, and miss astrassuck thought it would be a good idea to throw the cd out the minute i pulled it out of the computer the first time :wack: Thanks in advance :D

I read in some mag that England is seriously re-considering to join the euro money currency, is this correct? does anybody have any news about this? and I would like to know honestly wot is you all opinion? I mean do you all think it´s good for England to have a unique currency like rest of europe, despite Denmark and Sweden? or on the other hand its awful idea? I myself coming from abroad think it would be nice to use euros in the Uk also and would help England to be much more united towards Europe and most of all agaisnt the $$$ us dollar.... like to hear some opinions about this;

Is any one clued up on Employment Law? I am meant to be returning to work after Maternity Leave soon and had a meeting with my boss. I requested 16 hours (my contract as it stands is 35) and gave her the days i could work. She then said she really needs full timers and i agreed that i would do full time but then she went on to say that she may not be able to accomodate me as a full timer cos of my available days and that i may be handed my notice. Is she right in doing this? Please help.

Well I'm back in the land of the living! Got a hell of a suprise when the docs said I could come home yesterday...thought it might've been today at a push but more than likely Monday next week. But nope, ended up saying auf wiedersehen to the hell hole that is City Hospital in Birmingham (makes me thankful for Heartlands!) The old hip seems to be healing nicely which is good. Still aches like f*ck but at least I'm not in agony anymore which is a very good thing! There's a 20% chance the top of the hip that's been rejoined might die so they're going to keep an eye on my progress over the next 18 months...really don't want to be having a hip replacement at my age! …
