After reading a few threads lately I wondered how many people on here wanted a 'cheap' performance car, and the zed was cheap, and how many chose it even though they could afford something much more expensive? Who has moved on to something more expensive/new, and who has stuck with the zed? Who has wanted a zed for years, or owned one for years? I don't earn big money so I couldn't afford anything exotic, but when I didn't have kids I did consider a Honda S2000 - I still like it, but I don't really want it. I like the fact that a zed isn't a twats car - but it's a common man's car not an insanely rich guy's toy. Although people keep suggesting it, I don't think …

Could a broken exhaust pipe (rust holes) cause vibrating from the back of the car which you would feel straight trough the seats? I have been considering buying a Z from a used car shop over here for a longer time, and otherwise it is quite nice, but I'm just very afraid about that vibrating.. I think it is the back wheel bearings, but the salesman (obviously, he want to sell the car before the vinter) insists on that it's the exhaust pipe that causes it. You can feel it stronger when you drive in specific speeds. Does someone know what this could be? Ken

Evening Did my first ever trackday on Wednesday at Donington in my S13. What an amazing day - loved every minute of it. I was so impressed how my car handles and performed through the day  I had a 20 minute tuition from an old grumpy geyser but learnt loads and got better through the day. Has anyone done Donington before? - its a lovely flowing circuit and blasting down Craner Curves at 100mph is a feeling like nothing else, the whole track felt really suited to my S13. The car had no problems keeping up with experienced drivers in Elises, S2000s, etc They opened up the full GP Circuit, with the chicane followed by two hairpins in a row at the en…

A friend of mine has an Imported Toyota MR 2 Turbo (No comment!), and he's always had really cheap insurance through his club. When he was 26 (5 years ago), he bought the car with many modifications already done, and now it put's out around 300 Bhp and all the mods have been disclosed and it's never costed him more than £300 a year fully comp on an agree valuation of about £9K. The MR2 Owners Club have a deal with Dorset Insurance Group - (http://www.dorsetinsurancegroup.co.uk) - is this something this club could do as well? I pay close to a grand, 33, full NCB's living in London. I'm about to commence spending a heap of money on upgrading my car, and know my premium…

My honest opinion Sounds very very nice infact one of the nicest sounding cars I have heard for some time. The brakes were very good the 6 speed gearbox was so smooth and a pleasure to use. I was not too keen on the interior and the performance was poor but ok for a N/A I suppose.

We have just had this sent by internal mail from Cheshire fire & rescue. For your information a couple of weeks ago, in the Odeon cinema, Festive Park, a person sat on something sharp in one of the seats. When she stood up to see what it was, a needle was found poking though the seat with a note attached saying "YOU HAVE BEEN INFECTED WITH HIV" The centre for disease control in Birmingham, reports similer events have taken place in several other cities recently. All of the needles tested HAVE BEEN FOUND TO BE POSITIVE FOR HIV. The CDC also reports that needles have been found in coin return areas of pay phones and coke machines. Everyone is asked to …

I have never been Drag racing. I have seen some bikes doing the 1/4 mile at the Bull Dog Bash at Long Marston many moons ago but my question is: What happens if it rains. Does the racing still go on? I cant imagine anyone getting a good time in the wet. I really have no idea. I know I am wide open for a piss take here but as I have never really been then I think its quite a sensible question?

I am strongly thinking of adding this car to my collection? LOL. I just think it would be a nice addition and sat next to one another on my drive would look excellent. I had one years ago but it was rotten underneath. Then as time goes on I will add the 240 260 280 and 350 Z's and be a total tw@.

Has anyone imported a Z from the US? I've been looking at US used car sale websites and the Z's seem to be quite cheap over there. I have relatives living over there so they could get someone to find a good one, but is there something specific with the Z's in the states I should know? Ken
