Coming off the motorway today, roundabout, nothing on it other than a woman sat waiting to pull out. Nothing within a few hundred metres of her. She edges out, I see nothing there too, so go to pull away and BANG! She'd hesitated and thought not to go. :headvswal Straight up her arse. Stoved the front end of the car in quite a bit, bonnet's fooked and so is the bumper. May have damaged the slam panel too. Hers? Just a scratch and a broken number plate. Sucks. But she was really cool about it. Just gotta ring head office and get the claim form sent off. Thank God it wasn't the zed!!! Grrrrrrr, not had a bump in years. Hence the full no claims etc…

This is doing the rounds of the forums, its originally from the Toyota Owners Club. I think its classic, and I'm embarrassed by the attitude of young college kids/chavs these days! Dave : ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Currently (for my sins in a former life maybe) I am the physics and mechanical engineering lecturer at a local tertiary college. These kids are usually aged between 16 and 19 and are either doing A-levels or Btec nationals. My engineering class is currently studying the vehicle engineering unit. It is quite succesful as there is a large practical component when they get their hands dirty stripping down mul…

Hello everyone. I will be visiting London soon for work (2-4 weeks depending on conference outcomes) in the month of November. I was hoping some people here would be so kind as to point me in the direction of some good food establishments and sights to see. Here is the address of where I will be for work, and I will likely be staying close by in a hotel. Thanks in advance. Petershill 1 Carter Lane London EC4V 5ER

I have 2 chinchillas who live together, however recently the female one has started losing clumps of fur. :headvswal Does anyone know what causes this, how to prevent it or any changes to make to help the fur grow back? I know stress causes this to happen, any ideas what could be stressing her out (yes i know its a female - nuff said ;)) The first pic is her from one side, and this is how the fur is meant to be: And this one shows her other side where the clumps of fur are missing :( All help greatfully received!

Ok, I'm trying to conclude a huge decision.. I currently have an almost stock 2+2 TT Auto in Red. Have added a blueflame exhaust + Apexi + brembos + porterfields + a few styling bits inside (handbrake, pedals, 1/2 retrim done, stereo etc) + 60k done by Ryan + a couple of external bits like clear repeaters. I am looking to add bodykit, full retrim, engine, rims, respray. But I fancy a manual SWB TT, I would probably pick up a stock one and do the work on it... Do I continue with the 2+2 or go for a shortie??.................

Evening all, I have been to look at a J spec auto TT today, its black, H reg 60k miles and full service history from new, it drives pretty well but the bodywork is rough as its been was standing for over a year, no dents but all paint has faded and feels like sandpaper if you run your hand over it. He wants it moved before it stands for another year, but what price do you suggest I offer him, its has leather interior as well which again looks rough but no rips so when cleaned up that should be ok. I would post a picture up but the pictures I took make the car look a lot better than it really is :D
