General Discussions - Non 300ZX

Hi guys just bought a new plate K300 XTT got jap spec number plates and dont really know what spacing I can get away with to make it look its best, the 300X should I think go together maybe and the TT seperate but how and where to get plates made Im lost on ,so any ideas would be welcome thnx

OK Dudes... I need your help! The Z-Tech engine rebuild is complete... The CTS Gearbox rebuild is done.... I'm almost set (after having nearly 1yr off the road) having replaced almost everything mechanical or electrical on my car... And the only thing stopping me is....? My insurace company still can't fit me a blue tint passenger side window. Why? Because the can't open the damn door! some glass must have fallen into the mechanism somehow because it all worked fine before. This is all I need to be back on the scene! Gareth, RE: your request for rear wheel nuts, please do not take it lightly that two are just " missing" there is evidence that wheel stud failure is increasing especially on the UK spec cars, an early indicator is wheel nuts coming off or going "missing" as the stud stretches, I would urge you to have the wheel studs inspected and to be honest just replace them, they are not dear and the alternative if not worth it. I personally have seen at least 10 x UK spec zeds loose wheel nuts without any apparent reason, even if the nuts are replaced there is still the potential for repeat failure. Got a 2nd-hand scanner through the post yesterday. took me half an hour to install the damn thing (no hardware ever installs correctly first time and dont pretend it does!) asks me to reboot, which i do. then it doesnt load windows at all. in fact straight away it says "cannot find NTLDR". so i uses my recovery disk to do a non-destructive reinstall xp, doesnt work first time. do it again and it recovers. loads up xp, then gets a blue screen saying system halted. anyway to cut a long story short i recovered for the third time, after getting weird "delayed write fail" messages and now i've lost EVERYTHING on my hard drive! all ive got is a basic windows xp :rant: :rant: …

Hi, I've posted on the forums about buying a 300zx but im having a little problem with insurance quotes. I've done one with elephant but both me and them arnt sure they have the right car. It comes up as a nissan 300zx Turbo, but its a twin turbo 1990 onwards. They cant find one on the list so they asked for a reg number so they could check it out. Know I know this migh sound dodgy, but could anyone provide me with a 1994 UK spec TT, manual, short wheel base reg number??? Just looking into their specs....25th anniversairy edition to be precise. Looking at them, there doesn't seem to be anything in it really with regards to their 0-60 and max speed. Anyone had a 'play' with them? *thread only exists to piss pk1 off* ;)

Installed the H.I.D kit today on my cleaned headlights and wow what a difference, just need to adjust the beam now. ;) Cheers Mate.
