Looking out at this weather it seems like our summer jollies and JAE japes are such a long way away, my Z is in the garage not gonna even bother insuring and taxing it untill the worst of the winter is over. I think I must be getting that seasonal affected disorder when you get pi55ed off with the miserable dark rainy days. Roll on spring when the fridge returns in a blaze of glory, gonna get cracking with my Mk1 Escort cossie project too. :D Paul

 Why do most of the ads in autotrader look like the seller took a photo as they walked away. Most common pic is the big long nose . Car looks awful. even some private sellers seem to have no imagination when selling their car. I can never understand it. A beautiful looking car photographed like some astra or focus. To me the best photo is the rear 3/4 view. No-one bothers though, just take any old pic. it's just not on  :D

Lost (deceased) my ex-Mrs Turbo on January 30th although been split up since about July/August '04 but we'd been together for about 12 years so was gutted but the 300ZX crew were there for me. Thanks again everyone! But on the up, had met my new Mrs. Turbo a.k.a. Jen and then found out that she was preggers plays pop in April. Jobwise things have been good, been lucky enough to stay in good IT contracts all year and looking forward to a happy Crimbo (for a change) and an even happier New Year with the birth of our daughter...due 31st December. I keep seeing these on e-bay, TD04-H turbos for $300. I'm wondering if:- a) It's a scam. b) If the statement "these turbos are capable of 25-30 psi" is bullshit c) If there are other bits I'd need. d) All three. I've got a mate living in NC, USA so might be worth me buying a couple. A silly mare drove in to the back of my Omega last month. Damage was minimal but the bill for the repair is £1065 + VAT. The adjusters offered me £900 but said that if I decide to get an adjuster to come and inspect the car, it will more than likely be a total loss. Therefore, as I will be getting a company car next month and it needs a new alternator, I decided to go for the loss. What I want to know is, how long is it between the adjuster comes out and says it's a right off, and the car actually being taken away? Days, weeks, months? Just want to know so that I can gauge whether to get another car or not in the mean time. Cheers Cos
