Well guys, we’ve decided to have a little holiday over in Wales:whistling: We’ve gotten our hands on a Vango 8 man airbeam tent and are planning on paying a visit to Keith, that’ll give me a chance to swap out the brakes and go to a car show to hopefully bump into some of you guys :punk: Hoping to be heading over around the 11-12th August for a week or so. Keith has kindly offered his garden as a temporary campsite (keep costs down) so a Huge thanks to Keith:clap: Hopefully see some of you guys and have a laugh as well as doing some sightseeing

  3. So I want to start a discussion about the membership base and the dwindling numbers. I know we have less zeds on the road so the number of people visiting our club forums is decreasing year by year and that is fact. First I would like to break down the user stats as follows : Registered Users :- 221 ( user accounts that have not posted in 365 days but have logged in ) Standard Members :- 602 ( user accounts which will need to pay the £1 membership fee after 6 months ) Premium Members :- 152 ( user accounts which have paid the £20 membership fee ) Dormant accounts :- 8467 ( user account that has not been logged into in over 365 days ) Fir…

The end of Gaz's "what did you do" thread has left me feeling a tiny bit lost. Where do I post up a tiny bit of info about what I did to my car. It is just a pair of new tyres but it hardly seems worthy of starting a new thread. ????

I went to the goodwood breakfast club (classic car theme) Boy has it grown since we first went there years ago with about 10 zeds ( anyone remember that? Was it the same time we went to a runway and the police came ?) Got there 7.30 am, had breakfast, looked at cars till 11.30am Saw 3 240z ( some could have been a 260 to be honest) including a samuri At least 3 old rollers Went to the overpriced gift shop ( guy was buying a £109 jumper and they rung it up at £139) Noticed a grey 300zx in the carpark , which to be honest was a car show in itself, so drove up and down the rows of the carpark admiring more cars Stopped in at a garden centre on the …

I’m currently considering becoming a sole trader alongside my paye day job I’m slowly getting fed up with where I am as things are not being done to my satisfaction and it’s been bothering me for a while now. Trouble is I’m getting to that age where I don’t think I can tolerate working for someone again so I feel like this is my time to try something new. I have to maintain my current job to pay bills etc and to see if the work I intend to do for myself comes along at a decent rate. There is demand for what I plan to do and in my area there is a lack of places to fulfil that demand so I believe there is good business opportunity there to be had. I would ap…

Ok when the heck did the prices on Supra`s accelerate so fast and far above zeds?? really surprised to see some actually changing hands upwards of £18k not just for sale actually selling??? one on now at £25k !! I get it they always seemed to sell for more, and not taking anything from them, great car, and very easily tuned, but still the early one`s are like 25 years old now, thoughts?? Jeff 1993 £17k

Members : 10,155, Active Members : 500 ( 5th July 2018 ) Question for the admin, does the figures above not phase you at all? I have taken an hour long look around the members list and it is "shocking" the shear amount of members listed who have not even been on line here for upwards of 10 years, yes 10 years is almost grotesk, why are these still even in the data base ? what is the point? it just uses space and looks desperate. The forum has and will continue to decline as the numbers of cars / owners decline that is an obvious and uncontrollable future of course, but is it not time to take stock of the real forum membership we have and stop th…

Hi, I would like to hear from anyone that has any experience with either of the two cars mentioned. The years that I am looking at are 1990-91 300ZX and 1988-92 Supra Turbo. My preference leans toward the 300, but I know I can get the Supra for a lot less $$$ My main concern is maintenance, reliability, and upgradability. I have had six 5.0L Mustangs and quite frankly they bore the hell out of me. I would like to build up a nice turbo car and ride in a bit of style for a change. Ford? Please help. I didn't find the right solution from the Internet. References:- https://arstechnica.com/civis/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=1012351 Small Business Marketing …

Right My Zed now has the forged engine in it and just needs to be mapped - happy days we are getting close. I have missed the explosive acceleration very much (and the sense of trepidation when it's slightly wet and all the hedges seeming to be shouting "pick me" as I drive past) Then I get a letter from my credit card company saying interest free on CASH transfers for 30 months! Well that's free money isn't it! So one 600 mile round trip in a day and I am now the proud owner of something else silly Dyno print out at 305 BHP kerb weight around 600Kgs Rover 4.6 V8 and some very loud exhausts Can you guess what it is yet? Totally dif…

Couple months back me and a buddy made a Facebook page to document the stuff we do on our cars. We recently made it live so if you're interested take a look and give us a like. The zed gets a feature every now and then but there's also some other nice cars kicking about the workshop. https://www.facebook.com/PetrolHeads-Workshop-153537465307092/

Space fascinates me and the recent disclosure from NASA that they have found the building blocks of life on Mars is a big step forward in finding that life did exist a long time ago on the Martion planet. It will probably mean nothing to most people but if you are interested then read the report. The truth is out there. http://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/world/building-blocks-of-life-found-on-mars/ar-AAymDyp?ocid=ientp

So the powers that be in their infinite wisdom deemed it is now legal for some approved instructors to take novice young drivers on some of Britain`s busiest motorways....... oh my days, what is wrong with these people ?? I have always thought a newly passed driver who can already take to the motorway the same day as passing their test with little or no experience of driving in fast moving traffic a mistake, and considered a period of non motorway driving allowance of say 6 months after passing a better idea, but now its seems some one who has not even learnt to drive in town yet can get on that super highway !! Can see it now, fast moving traffic brought to c…
