Morning gents. I'm on the lookout for my childhood dream car, 300zx, needs to be a manual TT and needs to be 2+2 seater. After a couple weeks of searching I've realised you get a better deal on the imports, but is there any reason to avoid a jap import? I've seen a nice looking manual TT LWB, it's an import and has some rust on the offside rear arch but I'd be happy to have this repaired. Also, the car is listed as a 1991 (imported in 2001) yet is on a G plate. Can this be right? G reg cars are usually 89/early 90. Hi Folks As some of you have worked out I snaffled the 2 Twin Turbos that were for sale in St Albans To be honest I am really only interested in the parts car which means the UK car is up for grabs. The Car is a turnkey project it does need work to bring it back to what it should be. It is MOTed until the end of May 2016. Mileage is showing 133K backed up by multiple MOTs. However in the paperwork I also have a receipt for a replacement engine with 44K on it. Unfortunately it has no engine number on the receipt so I can't say for certain if the lump has been swapped. Hi everyone I mentioned a few weeks ago that I am starting to import quality 300's into the UK. Well the first is here and has just been MOT'd and will be up here tomorrow evening or Wednesday at the latest with the other about a week behind. I just wanted to explain what I am intending to do. Hi all. A real stab in the dark at trying to find some rocking horse sh*t. Used to own a lwb TT auto and loved it, due to unforeseen circumstances i ended up getting rid of. basically i was young and bought a dog that my pockets weren't deep enough to give the tlc it needed. I'm looking to buy my first 300ZX! The 2 biggest things I need for it to be are Manual and Twin Turbo. The colours I prefer Silver but also like Black, Red, Open too all colours as it's gorgeous in all really. My budget is up to about £3500, minor body damage isn't an issue but I'm not a mechanic and cannot be dealing with mechanical issues - well big ones I have some knowledge. The wife has given me an ultimatum....... the car or her........ so having to sell.... Recent facelift, had a wide arse conversion but now back to standard rear end, very loud but quietens down when warmed up, smokes a little, UK model, not serviced as much as she should have been, could do with some TLC..... I decided to keep the Z as it costs less to run........ Open to offers!

I'm after a zed, preferably KL0 silver or KH3 black, but will consider anything if the car is good enough. It must have the proper rear seat belts instead of the lapbelts the very early ones got, since I need to be able to get my kids in the back, and rust free. Already modified would be preferred, not too fussed about bodykits and the like, but I want it to be a quick one if I can help it, so breathing mods, boost increase, maybe an NA rear end swap, etc. Is there anything out there worth getting at the moment?
