Ive never had a bodykit before so gona ask some noob questions?im about to order an aftermrket fibreglass front bumper. Im going to get it sprayed properly but can you DIY fit them yourself ok?obviously i need to remove the front indicators/fogs etc.What else needs to b removed from the zed?Can the headlights stay in situ?does the kit have to b fitted before spraying or do you spray it first. thanksfor advice and putting up with some stupid questions.

Well i had 'white' indicators for a while as the bulbs i were sold at a 'reputable' performance centre were wrong.lol.had to go to 3 different stores to get a pair of straight pin bulbs as i was sold offset ones.

i had to get replacement units anyway as mine where cracked. And i agree you need a lot of patience Good idea to get some latex gloves to stop the black gunk getting over you.

Cheap way-get hold of a strip light cover-free coloured bulbs. Cost me a total of 62 pounds for conversion (60 for replacement standard units,2 qiud for bulbs)and a bout 3 hours work

there are a few bits you can do to the Zed for peanuts (i changed to '99 spec rear lights' for 62 pounds (60 of that for standard replacement light units) so for a couple of qiud you can change the look of the rear.Clear repeaters dont cost the earth either.As for fuel consumption you have to remember this is a 3 litre car with twin tubs-of course its gona cost you.

Will change to chrome bulbs soon just put in some orange bulbs for the moment.

Heres a pic of my hard days graft (well 3 hours) converting my new rear lights Cost me a total of £62 pounds.(£60 replacement lights,£2 orange bulbs,Lenses-Free from strip light material) What do you think? Thanks to Danny at DTA for the rear lights.
