Ah so thats what im getting for Xmas from the missus.....i wondered what a Banks engine was.

how long would it take to change the springs on a Zed and could i do it diy?I will get the car jacked up properly tommorow and take a gander at the other side as well and see what the difference is.I have an inkling its the springs as i cant see any fluid leak Thanks for the advice and help...

So how do i adjust these for ride height should there be a nut somewhere on them?

thanks so it wont affect ride height?its doesnt seem lumpy when going over bumps and seems to hold the road okay,so i dont think its the shock.could the spring cause the car to sag a bit?

My passenger side front seems to hang about 2-3cm lower than the drivers side.My car has been been lowered at some point and i found these shocks (see pic of rear unit) GAB "shock asborbers for hard suspension,made in Japan by Wings" what are they and what will happen if i turn the knob on them?I dont know if the front has got this knob on them. Has this got anything to do with ride height or is it because the the spring might be on its way out? Thanks in advance

0.6 bar is the standard 9psi the stock motor puts out.You had boost pressure raised a bit?Also remember the standard gauges arent that accurate

so 0.6 bar should be around the +4 mark on your standard gauge i think.

so 450 (rounded down) diveded by 100 is 4.5 so the two gauges are out by......im not a mathematician lol

My standard guage goes round to just under +7. The HKS guage is in bar i think so just check on a conversion chart of bar pressure to whatever standard guages measure to see if the two guages are a mile out

just about anything is possible with these cars.Sorry for being so negative.... Anyway a check of PTU connectors for a start and take it from there

Another quick question.Where would the number plate be best to go on a bumper identical to nissan 300's?Im going to mesh it out so i thought on the mesh itself (the central hole)is there any legal implications of doing this?Or is it hidden from view?Currently in deliberation about going.Im doing a thing a month on my car at the moment and TBH i would rather spend my dough on the car than getting to meets this year im afraid.If the Zeds in good health and it will look better by next year i will be willing to travel.

im probably go for some skirts but leave the rear standard with maybe a Monza under skirt.Ive got some ride height problems to sort first as im maximum low now so if the new bumper hangs anylower im going to have mega probs.
