have had ours for 5yrs very reliable the only thing dependin what year you are looking at a clutch change at bmw is £1500 as front of car has to be taken apart to get at gearbox also early gearboxes are from rover 100 so not that good put a reconditioned one in last year cost 300 plus 300 for my mate to do it aparently newer ones are worse the guy in gearbox says thats the only bad point that we1ve had .

was a boxter s not worth spooling turbos up >lol

check wiring to box that will stop car turning over ,or if you have an aftermarket alarm then you might have to reset different ones have different ways to reset check net for your make .

looked nice mate i live in wakey so haven`t seen it before ilive in thornes so not far .

why don`t you do a tt conversion on a vert ,i`ve got a blue one that might be up for sale in the next 3-4 mths

just took Z out for a spin to bradford to pick some parts up for a mate down south ,haven`t given car a good blast since 1)had engine rebuilt and 2)had two new t28 turbos fitted on the way back to wakefield i was so enjoying driving her a missed the junction so had to go down to next junction ,on rejoining the M1 i went to the outside lane where there was a porsche carrera 4 07 plate i followed for a bit he was with a mate showing off he had the cheak to give me a wave as he pulled away so i floored it caught him up stayed with him i saw a cap and shot passed him and pulled away from him came to juction i had to turn off and don`t think he was too happy but his passenger did wave good old Z ..wont post speed as it was a touch over the limit..

i`m not that mad yet ,only if my car has grown was a long wheel base !!lol

won`t make much difference as the goverment take 60% approx in tax if the oil companies ruduce prices sure as i`m breathing goverment will tax more i feel for lorry firm and small buisines who have to use their vechicles my fuel bill is bad enough in my van let alone taking the Z out .

count your self lucky you were there to supervise my sort of mate borrowed mine 2 yrs ago (traffic cop )to take it to a mate to sort my alarm out and informed me that the fastest car gwent police have isn`t as fast as my Z i got car bzck with a wine in gearbox but of course it was fine when he drove it !!arse.

yep but then discov ered turbos seals gone and they had only done 3k miles but in all fairness american company said they`ll still cover under warrenty so put bigger ones so should have more tollerance i hope .

mind you i can talk since i saw you last i`ve had a full rebuild and the third set of turbos mind you ive put t28`s this time so fingers crossed

its usually the rear crank seal need to take box out to get at it ,

probably stolen !!lol
