  5. That's fantastic thanks Can anyone point me at sourcing the breather hose that comes off the back of the rocker cover. Thanks Is it 11826 on here http://jp-carparts.com/nissan/partlist.php?maker=nissan&type=132&cartype=25&fig=118
  6. Doh. :stupid: posted in the wrong section. can someone move for Help and Advice. ta
  7. Afternoon, Looks like my oil leak is just rocker cover gaskets  Replacing perished pipes while I'm at it - I'm looking for a couple. Can someone point me in the right direction - where's best to get them - is there anywhere in the UK? Any advice on other things while the top's off? Thanks in advance David I need (pics below)... (1) pipe from the brake servo. (2) breather pipe from the rocker cover - at the right rear of the engine
  8. Hi All, for sale my 300zx This car has been with club members since 2009 Unashamedly copied from the last owner's ad... "Manual conversion at zedworld (2012) TT subframe replaced with NA rear end 350z brembo brake upgrade with custom made drilled discs all round KYB agx dampers Alloy racing rad Zedworld chip Series 2 interior Series 2 air con Staggered alloys rear 265 35 18 front 245 40 18 One piece prop HIDs Rear sills replaced so totally solid High quality induction kit SS exhaust" Plus ... Clifford Concept 300 Alarm Immobilizer Continental Sport Contact 3 tyres went on in Aug 2018, barely run in. Bosch Battery is a year old MOT expires Aug 2019 It's got the bits that go missing: targa blinds, targa bags, boot blind, thick carpet mats. ICE is Radio/CD Panasonic RDP383N, Lockford Fosgale P4004 Amp and Focal speakers. There's a subwooker and mono amp which I took out cos I wanted my boot space - they are included. Since I bought the car, I have spent most of my spare time tidying up the interior: relocating the amp, removing fairy lights, swapping back to stock steering wheel (I like cruise control), de-blinged gear stick, replaced disintegrating boot carpet with late model rubber-backed version. Pay attention please... The mileage looks odd because the JDM Km clocks were changed at about 123,300km to UK clocks with 123,471 miles. So the total milage on the car is about 81k miles. I can share the MOT and invoice paper trail to verify this (some MOT history has been recorded in the wrong units for those checking DVLA). This car has no air bags, no ABS, no HICAS, no aircon (heater works fine). Driver side arches need some attention. Rear centre panel has the usual cracks. It needs a deep clean, which I haven't got time for. Here's the previous For Sale from andyzx https://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?185463-TT-manual-1990-For-Sale "Why are you selling?" I hear you ask. Well. Um. (1) I'm away with work and just not finding time to enjoy the car, can't see when I will, and (2) daily runner is a V60 Polestar which is growing on me. alot. (I don't need to take spare pants when it's wet or snowy) Check you can get this car insured before you come and see - Adrian Flux were one of the few that gave me a quote (£400ish for me) Car is in Scotland. Google it. Last time I sold a zed I had folk wanting to pop over on a Sunday afternoon from south England. Doh. I've collected some parts along the way, will dig them out over the next few days. In summary... If you are looking for a stock zed or a garage queen, then look else where. If you like getting your hands dirty and are looking for a running, driving TT manual that's (1) got some mechanical upgrades, (2) is a wee bit rough around the edges, and (3) been looked after by sensible middle aged blokes, then maybe this is the car for you. Ad will only be on here for a while to give enthusiasts a first look. Mileage will go up slightly as it's still being driven locally. 9. OK. so no takers then. I'll not bother heading along. Shame, I do enjoy a good finger licking. Hopefully we'll get at least one Scotland meet this year? Davey Nae Mates
  10. Anyone interested? will I be eating a bargain bucket on my own?
  11. Of course. So long as it's all deep fried first
  12. As summer is nearly over in Scotland and it's almost time to put the car away for the winter, I thought I'd propose a mid week meet and see who's free. KFC Livingston on Wed 20th June @ 7:30pm If anyone wants to join me, that would be great. I'll be the one wearing the Panama hat stuffing my face with Belgium chocolates and Tunis cake.
  13. Looks like the unusually lovely weather in Scotland is set to continue into the weekend. Anyone fancy a meet this Saturday 9th June? West looks best for taps-aff?
  14. I'm allowed out to play tomorrow - that's Sat 12th May JaiKai, Are you free? Is anyone else up for a Troon trip?
  15. Can we reschedule as it's pishin doon in Troon and scorchio on the east coast today?
  16. Whoo hoo! the annual thread in the Scotland section. Yes. I'm up for that. got any dates in mind?
  17. Just noticed that the rubber strip behind the battery that attaches to the bonnet and seals to the scuttle is missing. Anyone got one? Thanks David
  18. Ey up. Only saw one this year on my hols to Englandshire. Black one parked in York on the side of the A59. Last Thursday, I think it was. Was it you?
