Thank you, all. Having gone through my Soarer front to back to "baseline" it I know even the best Fairlady will need a good going through, but at least Amayama tells me Nissan parts are much cheaper than Toyota!

No Fairlady as of yet. I have a Soarer and my missus wants a slicktop auto TT and the hunt in Japan was on until...I lost my job. Anyway, I'm going to lurk around here and learn as much as possible before my luck turns for the better and we can carry on the search. Look forward to benefiting from the wisdom here.
