  1. With all the poor quality master brake cylinders out there today ..... does anyone have any data, or experience, with some of the better top quality master brake cylinder manufacturers (Bendix, Wagner, ACDelco, Centrix, Cardone, Raybestos, etc.)? I have been looking, for quite a while, for a replacement master brake cylinder for my 1990 2+2 300ZX (Non-Turbo). Since Nabco Nissan no longer manufactures a OE master brake cylinder (which I would purchase in a heart-beat), I have been on a quest to find the absolute best quality replacement master cylinder .... one that will last many tears without breaking down. I have heard horror stories from far too many mechanics about the quality and longevity of most master brake cylinder replacements manufactured today. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated - David (New York USA) 1990 Nissan 300ZX, Non-Turbo, 2+2, ABS, T-Roof
  2. Where was the U.S. button on the poll? I know everyone hates Trump (me too), but that's no excuse to exclude us registered yank members of the club! (HaHa):)
  3. Not much in the last few weeks .... too much snow and road salt for me to even think about taking the "Z" out of the garage. My '90 300ZX 2+2 has only 62,000 miles, and has always been garage stored, covered, since day one (especially in Upstate New York winters - Yuk). Hell ... "shes" never even been driven too much in the rain (absolutely no rust). Was transported out to Newport Beach California once then moved back to New York City area, and will most likely be transported back to California (Palm Springs area) in a few years (she's looking forward to that). "She" somehow thinks that every day ... all year round ... must be exactly like the last great warm sunny day "she" was taken out of the garage for a drive! (Hah).
  4. That's what I thought I did way back when I firdst had the "Z" .... twisting it and removing it. I remember there was something like a "spring clip" in the mount that would release the roof attachment of the mounted end. THANKS GUYS, THIS SITE, AND IT'S RESPONSE BY YOU GUYS, IS TERRIFIC .... Although I am a new member, 300zx.couk is the best site out there (Hate to say it, but better than any here in the states)! So far, looking over the site, it looks like there is a great wealth of tech info and conversation on the Z32 300ZX!
  5. I have tried to remove the plastic cover to get to removing the interior rear view mirror .... but for the life of me, couldn't figure how it comes off (if it does). The 300ZX (1990) Nissan Service Maunal has nothing about removing the interior mirror. I'm sure it's an easy thing to do, and there must be some trick to it without ruining the headliner material or mirror cover piece. I will appreciate any advice or photos showing how to get the entire mirror removed. Thank you. 1990 300ZX 2+2 - 62,000 miles - No Winters!
