  1. YouTube compression algorithms are a bit hit and miss, I found shooting in 4k and then saving the project in 1080p seems to look better on YouTube rather than uploading in 4k to YouTube and them compressing it automatically, At some point I defo want to come and film everyone's cars together for our YouTube channel, we are launching the car segment later in August and hopefully the camera upgrade will go down well with producing much higher quality content,
  2. Thank you all for some great advice and suggestions, I'll definitely go for the Clutch upgrade first, and then save up for the 740cc Nismo Injectors as a luxury extra, For me having gone from a stock 300bhp (ish) power to the higher boost setting of 13.3psi and map is plenty fast (for now) :) Also I definitely want to bring the car to the next Club meet or AGM and meet everyone face to face,
  3. I think 350-380 Bhp is plenty for me at the moment but in the future Injectors and Biger turbos + map would deliver much bigger gains I'm sure, will probably need bigger breaks too and better clutch,
  4. 740cc NISMO Injectors and 17psi? wont this simply blow the stock turbos and the engine?
  5. Took some time out last week from work and managed to take my 300 to Bristol to see Jimmer of PowerZed The plan was to try and get a bit more horse power out of the old lady as she was mostly stock when it came to the internals, Jimmer fitted the Greddy EBC and removed the ECU and put in a new one with a map for stage 1, the car now feels a lot more responsive and boosts up to 13.3 psi the horsepower gains where tangible with around 350-380bhp expected (will dyno her at some point in the future to find out). Next on the list of modifications will be a sports clutch and flywheel most probably towards the end of the year as well as brake pads, I must say I found Jimmer to be an incredible specialist and a true gentleman, I can’t wait to take the car back to him once again in the near future,
  6. This one, but had a bad time with the 300ZX Zeemax ZM300 Rear Roof Spoiler 2+2 (that when flying on the A1M on the way to JapFest) https://www.zcentre.co.uk/index.php/shop/bodystyling/300zx-z32-rear-spoilers-rear-wings/300zx-tailgate-lower-skin-v2
  7. Looks lovely, the rear wing is so nice, I don't like the stock wing on my 300 but fitting a aftermarket one is proving to be trouble,
  8. You are spot on Jeff :) I think they just wanted to see the back of me by that point, I did take her in to J.E Drury Coachworks in Welwyn and they quoted me a very reasonable £450 to fix the front bumper, the bonnet and the rear wing/spoiler thus I'm very tempted to just do that keep her blue and then that will leave more budget to take her to Power Z They re-spray they quoted £1,800 to 2K but they are too busy till end of summer so will have to make a decision by next week I suppose will not hurt to call others like Custom Exotics in Harlow and ask them for a quote and availability etc.. Thank you all for your advice and input its super helpful,
  9. Thank you Andrew & Gaz, Kraftwork seems close by and the site looks good, the paint is in good condition just a few stone chips and small scratches due to age and wear. The front bumper is the only one that really needs attention and could use a respray. Though a colour change would be nice I like the blue but ideal would be dark gunmetal grey. Will defo talk to Jim@PZ as about 350 would be more than enough for me, Thank you for the advice, much appreciated.
  10. Yes 9 Grand! I told them I would buy another 300ZX for that much, but yes I had a budget of 2.5 - 3k in mind
  11. Hello Dear All, Hope you are all well and about to have a lovely bank holiday weekend, I’m after a bit of general advice in regards to my 300zx I recently took her to R-Tec Auto Design and they managed to swap the tyres the alloys and tint the windows. There was a rear defuser also installed but this has now been removed buy mother nature and it languishes some ware on the A1 M ? Now the main thing is I also wanted R-Tec to wrap my car but having initially agreed and quoted me a reasonable price the gentleman who was going to carry out the work refused to do so on the grounds that the car has a coarse surface below a certain line and in his opinion the wrap would come off or bubble in 6-8 months’ time thus he did not feel they could deliver a good customer experience. I asked to be quoted on a re-spray and they came back with a ridiculous quote, thus I want to find out what it would cost to have a decent quality respray carried out on the 300zx without it costing an exorbitant amount, The other question I have is about power upgrades, would Jimmer of Power Z be the right person to take her to for tuning or to get an extra few ponies out of her, as currently I think she’s only producing about 270-290 ish? Would it be cost prohibitive to get her to about 350-400bhp without having to go down to route of forging the engine etc.. Your thoughts and input is very much appreciated,
  12. Yes it was, Joseph's a lovely guy, definately maintained her really well. Looks like the overwhelming advice on here is to leave the side-skirts alone thus may just get her wrapped, tinted and change the alloys, shes golden otherwise :)
  13. Yes thank you very much Joely P I have been told by Guy and Joseph about the Top Gear episode, the log book comes signed by all of the presenters I think so that was a nice touch, I don't watch any TV so will have to use iPlayer to watch that episode on catch-up. Yes super looking forward to Jap Fest have been there last two years and loved every minute of it :) will be great to meet other Z owners and club members :)
  14. I may have overpaid a little but the Gentleman did a thorough job, plus winter is already here thus I thought speed was of the essence, Ultimate Car Paint Protection Limited (£495 Waxoyl)
  15. Thank you, Yes highly possible the gentleman who owned it before me (Joseph) took really good care of her :) Had it under sealed on Monday, runs like a dream, ordered a few parts from Z centre (Demon Side Skirts & Zeemax ZM300 Rear Roof Spoiler) will do a few more maintenance related things and then ready for a colour change (will have hew wrapped), possibly also change the alloys, not sure though they have started to grow on me, possibly also tint the windows too and that will be it till the summer, will bring her to Jap Fest 2019 for sure :)
  16. Another newbie here, got my 300zx TT manual from Guy Frances Specialist Cars last month, she’s been well looked after and just took her to be under sealed for the winter ahead, Will post more on here once I get my bearings,
