My issue isn't with the auctioneer. I was told that it had an oil change and the timing belt and air con parts were replaced once it had arrived in the country. As Jimmer will testify..none of this had happened.

I feel your pain mate. I bought one from the same trader couple of years ago. Cosmetically its very good. But... after 6 weeks of ownership I had to replace the gearbox. Then the timing belt tensioner collapsed despite promises that it had been done, was also told the drier for the air con was being replaced, guess what... it's never worked. Its eaten 3 clutches over a period of 10 months due to a bent fork. Surely this should have been picked up? Thank goodness we have people like Jim that are willing and able to sort these things out. But living on the isle of wight costs me almost 500 pounds just to get my car to him. Anyone fancy a px for a micra?
