  1. Sorry, can't edit and add the picture in so sorry for the double post! This doesn't look terminal does it? (Rust on right hand side of pic, around the strut top) Apparently that's the only rust on the car, arches etc are clean. Found an old advert from 2 years ago but not much more info in that! 145k miles, no history (so budget for cambelt when I get it home?), on 350z Rays wheels, Hornet exhaust, LWB Targa manual. Looks to be an import as the reg won't come up on insurance, dvla says "Nissan Unknown" for the model. Worth a punt for 2k? Would be replacing my daily...
  2. Advert says it's in Barrowford? Looks like an hour west of Leeds, or an hour north of Manchester? Not sure if that's anywhere near you buddy, but thanks for the offer! I'd have to fly in to Manchester from Inverness, and find a bus or train to take me up, so it's a fair bit of distance for me! It's up for only £2k, seller says the history is missing, and the only rust is a "little bit in the engine bay" (Not sure if there's any big danger spots of rust there?) I'm waiting on pictures to come through, I'll post them up here when they come in?
  3. Does anyone have any info on M423 CCA? It's up for sale right in my budget (hi again 300zx.co.uk!) but there's no service history. MOT history looks clean enough for the age of it but it's not exactly local enough I can pop over and give it a once over!
  4. Afternoon! I'm looking for any manual 300zx, n/a or tt, but would prefer a really clean n/a over a "leggy" tt. SWB or LWB, preferably T-Top but would go for a clean slicktop. My ideal 300zx would be: LWB T-top, N/A, low mileage, with proof of the cambelt done. M reg or later, as my personal plate is M reg. Would consider ANY clean zx, but that is just my ideal one for my budget. Budget is £2500, or PX my E46 330ci with cash your way. I'll travel to you no matter where you're based in the country, don't worry about travel. I'm based in the highlands but will travel, no problem. Mods: Not sure if I can post a wanted add without being a subscriber, but I plan on subscribing as soon as I actually own a zx!
  5. Awesome, let me know when it's up for sale! It's actually about 200 yards down from the crossroads for Nairn/Auldearn/Cawdor/Ferness, a couple miles out of Nairn, if you know the area!
  6. Hi, I wouldn't be aiming for silly numbers like 300bhp or so, but a usable 240-245 at the fly wouldn't be far out of the realms of possibility would it? If I could match the 0-60 of my beemer, I'd be very happy! (bmw claim 6.something, real world test show 5.9s) Thank you! Hoping I can get into a Z soon and see what all the fuss is about! Been one of my favourite looking cars for a long time now.
  7. Thank you! Hopefully will find something soon! :) Wasn't sure if I was allowed to post a wanted thread without subscribing? If I am, I'll get one up tonight! Here's some of the fleet, past and present! Current daily driver, 2001 E46 330Ci Msport, manual. Lovely to drive but not raw enough for me! 1997 Mazda MX5 mk1. Extensively modified, proper Torsen LSD, Meister R Zeta S coilovers, straight pipe etc etc, being sold hopefully this week to put some pennies into the Z fund! 2000 Impreza UK Turbo, running around 320whp, within 24 hours of purchasing it I realised I wasn't a massive fan of AWD and quite possibly the worst handling car I've ever owned. Looked great but drove horrifically, and returned sub-5mpg around the city! My partner drives a brushed gold wrapped 350Z GT, but will need to find out if she wants pictures of it posted or not! Visually not my cup of tea but the way it drives put me back down the course of a 300zx, I think I described it as "like a fat MX5, with some actual power." (but in a good way!) Unfortunately not many pics here of my 2 projects, a 91 Sierra Sapphire that's currently in a lockup waiting to be built for stage rally when time and money allow, and I still have my first car, a 1991 VW Polo Saloon. Absolutely gutless, but significantly rare now and massive sentimental value even if they're not worth a great deal these days! Hi! I'd be more buying on condition than whether it was TT or N/A, I'm looking for something clean to daily that'll be fun on B roads and turn a few heads. The 222bhp of the N/A is close enough to my 330Ci that I don't expect to really notice the 6 missing bhp and I've heard that even the N/A has a little more power to give!
  8. Hi everyone! I realised that every time I bought a new car, before buying it I'd look for 300zx's and inevitably end up purchasing something else, so I think the time has come to give in and get one! Currently driving a 2001 E46 330Ci and had a whole host of modified cars before (320whp WRX, MX5 Mk1, Sierra Sapphire, the list goes on) and I'm wanting to get into the Z game now. If anyone knows of anything around the £2.5k mark, SWB or LWB, please let me know, will travel anywhere in the UK for one (I'm based in the north of Scotland). I know I won't get a TT for that price but maybe a not too rusty/starship mileage N/A? Thanks for reading and hopefully I'll end up being on here for a while!
