  5. am i the only lunatic that will stick up for retro? simple answer is, yes... the likes of a 4wd beast is gonna tear us up round the corners, especially in the wet! so if your nailing it round corners and afraid your gonna die, you should either slow down... or buy a 4wd monster! however, what i cannot condone is the fact you mentioned wanting a gto! :hurl: ... grale or a short sport quattro all the way  other than that retro, stick to straight lines :smash:
  6. bit outta your jurastiction buddy, what brings you to these parts?
  7. Murphys Law! ... well at least you have eliminated a possible 'oh s*!t my bonnet cable has snapped' dilema
  8. check out karl300zx in the rides section
  9. the key to painting it is the preparation and the paints/primers used. i would recommend, paint strip, degrease, a very light but thorough rub down with 600 grit paper. then apply 2 thin coats of flexible primer (plasto flex) without rubbing down. then apply 2 or 3 coats of colour build primer and hardener seal allowing a good 10 hours between coats, but still dont do any rubbing down. now let the hardener seal cure, the longer the better...let it bake in the sun for days! once cured give it a good rub down to 800 grit paper and apply 3 coats of paint. finally slap on 2 coats of lacquer and rub down to 1500 to 2000 grit paper! rush it and it wont last long
  10. lol! yes try using a heat gun to start with. make sure you repaint it with the proper paint and even then il give it 3 weeks before it starts to crack again :( save ya money and buy the stock fiberglass replica!

  19. are you sure it was pissing oil out and not just coolant? how long previous to the 'breakdown' did you check the oil level? deffo sounds like its blown into the water channel of the head gasket tbh.. but oil pissing out everywhere??? maybe its blown into the oil and water channels and your oil has been gradually making its way into your coolant until the big bang where they all decided to make a communal exit! if youve been driving it around for some time with the head gasket gone, the oil left in the system would tell the story... or the coolant pipes!
  20. dammit dude i didnt see you :( what you done to the poor girl?
