  1. This was fitted to my Z32 Incredible tuner and amazing CD sound Includes remote control, face, face carry case, instruction manual and new DIN connector Has a specialist in built system to create time delays with the speakers. Gives a simulated surround sound Powered front and in superb condition throughout Fitted well in the Z32 I can't find the cage for it, but haven't looked that hard (I must have put it safe when I fitted it!). You won't need the cage when fitting it to the 300ZX though Real old school Alpine and sounds crisp, clear and with great definition. Prince includes Postage
  2. Full set of KYB adjustable shock absorbers with lowering springs Taken off my car, no issues other than too low and too hard for my liking I would guess less than 10k miles on them Price does not include delivery. Item is heavy so delivery can be at cost or collection If it helps, I can deliver to Powerzed (Jimmers) in Bristol in the price
  3. Set of Four 17" alloy wheels, spacers & locking wheel nuts for Z32 Fronts 235/45ZR17 Rears 255/40ZR17 Fitted with Toyo T1R Sports Rears have 4.5mm tread Fronts 5.08mm tread left Tyres have got flat spots on them and consequently at 70mph you can feel some vibration which you will not be able to balance out Wheels are decent but would benefit from a light refurbishment if you were fussy. They are perfectly respectable to use now though. They are Japanese aftermarket alloys and are multi-fitment type. Decent quality. Price does not include delivery
  4. Hi Andrew I would like a copy of the FSM please Thanks Matthew
  5. I just wanted to say an enormous thank you to Jimmer. As a newcomer to Z32 ownership, Jim has guided me through everything, serviced my car when I found it and significantly and gradually improved it over the last 18 months. He has been absolutely brilliant. Sadly my work mileage is going to have to go up and it is unrealistic and unfair to expect the Zed to cope. As such it needs to find a new owner - https://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?189441-Nissan-300ZX-Twin-Turbo-Manual&p=1978140#post1978140 I have one last trip to do in her. Swansea to London on business and to take newbie Deegan out so he can fulfil a life long dream. The old girl has been supremely reliable, great fun and I have met some great people on the forum. High points have been any time at Jimmers, sharing pork pies, pasties and scotch eggs, the glorious summer with an amazing car and gradually getting her back to standard to feel what a new Z32 must have felt like. I can understand and respect modifications, but to drive a standard Z32 is a lovely experience and for everyday use far more forgiving and enjoyable. Plus there are no trips to the chiropractor Low point was a magazine article in Autocar when Jim got misquoted and I got described as an elderly gentleman. I'm only 51 and fit as a fiddle! Boy did he laugh. Jim, you are an absolute beacon and shinning light. So much have I enjoyed my visits that my new car, when I eventually get it (a Lexus modern), will be looked after by Powerzed. Hybrid technology comes to Pilning. Expect within 12 months Jim to be offering Hybrid conversions on Z32's!!!!!!!! I have met some great people through the forum and will keep in touch. I hope you all continue to enjoy what I always feel is the first Japanese Supercar and if you see an elderly gentleman in a Lexus smiling at you, it will most likely be me ? Thanks everybody for the fun, back to the modern world for me but if anyone wants a lovely TT click on the link above. Best regards Matthew
  6. 1989 Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo Targa Manual Z32 65k Miles Description This is a JDM specification factory manual car imported into the UK in 2003. Colour is KH2 Dark Grey Metallic with black leather upholstery and grey trim. The car is a first-class example and has appeared in magazine features twice when pristine examples were required. The car has had a total of three owners in the UK. The first was the owner of the company that imported it. He owned it for a short period of time. The next owner acquired it after an extensive search and owned the vehicle from 2003 until 2017 when I acquired it. There is a huge history file with the car documenting all of the work the previous owner had Zedworld to undertake and the work that I have had Powerzed in Bristol to carry out. Both are acknowledged as leaders in maintaining Z32’s. The car has always been well cared for and never abused. It comes complete with Titanium key, two spare Nissan keys and two alarm fobs. Recent works include: New Pilkington windscreen (cracked due to age). At the same time the windscreen area was professionally rustproofed. New windscreen trim and scuttle trim New targa seals – this vehicle does not leak OEM rear spoiler fitted and painted professionally Alpine 9815 CD/Tuner head unit fitted OEM UK specification staggered refurbished alloy wheels fitted New Continental ContiSport Porsche N rated tyres fitted Four-wheel laser alignment OEM suspension fitted OEM exhaust system fitted Custom downpipes/de cat pipes made and fitted by Longlife Exhausts HID headlight conversion Vehicle rustproofed using Dinitrol products in cavities and underbody New tailgate struts fitted New correct number plates fitted LED interior lights LED rear fog light LED reversing light The following works by Powerzed: 2 x service 2 x new Bosch Lambda sensors fitted Replacement ECU fitted. Originally fitted for another reason, but this has cured an elusive smoking issue that has been reported in the past Complete new Exedy Clutch New Powerzed single piece propshaft Clutch master and slave cylinders replaced along with flexible hose. System correctly bled Uprated 350Z clutch fork fitted – very light pressure and sweet to drive New Genuine Nissan Rear Crankshaft Main Oil Seal Gearbox oil change – Redline MT50 LSD (Diff| oil change – Fuchs Titan AC recharged Replacement clock fitted New Michelin wiper blades front and rear New front brake discs (Blueprint – OEM spec) New front brake pads (Nissan) (Rears had been done by previous owner just before purchase) Front callipers completely rebuilt with seals, pistons and fixings Non-standard Bits fitted Greddy Turbo Timer Thatcham Cat 1 Auto watch alarm and immobiliser 99 spec Genuine Nissan rear lights, clear front indicators and clear side repeaters. Alpine Head unit Reason for sale Over the last 18 months of ownership I have used the vehicle for business purposes travelling to London from Swansea once a month. The car has been superb, coped admirably and has never once let me down. I am a gentle driver and achieve 20 mpg around town and 28-31 mpg on the motorway. Powerzed is just off the old Severn Bridge near Bristol so it has suited me well to own this car, improve it and service it with them and at the same time have a car that is stylish, entertaining and when you factor in the depreciation made good business sense. Unfortunately, my work load is suddenly increasing and it is neither fair nor realistic to expect a 29 year old car to undertake 15,000 miles a year as opposed to 6,000 miles a year. Sadly, this means that the Zed and another of our classic cars have to go to be replaced with a modern Lexus Hybrid. The fact that the car has been used so regularly has meant it is in fine fettle and drives more like a 3-year-old car rather than a 30-year-old car. Regular use really does do classic cars the power of good. Other parts The car will be supplied with the following items: Original Targa Roof sun shades x 2 Original Targa Roof stowage bags x 2 (Both of the above are the originals with the car as is the full tool kit) New Evo Locking Wheel Nuts (Thatcham approved) Replacement Mongoose 304 Grade Stainless steel exhaust and downpipes Aftermarket alloy wheels that the car lived on for many years (17”) fitted with Toyo tyres which are flat spotted through storage. KYB adjustable suspension with lowering springs x 4 OEM UK spec radio cassette and CD player Sony radio/CD head unit originally supplied with the car by previous owner. Original copies of all car magazines that it has appeared in Copy of Nissan 300ZX The Enthusiasts Companion by Ray Hutton Assortment of various new and reclaimed parts. Huge detailed history file with all invoices, historical notes, mileage data log 2 x original brochures from 1990 (different versions) Car Cover plus bag Condition I have sought advice from Jim at Powerzed as to what the value of the car is and to assess it since he is renowned as the best service garage for these vehicles in the UK since Jeff at Zedworld retired. His opinion is that the car alone is worth £8,000 and his assessment is that the car is one of the best examples he works on and with a small effort will make a concourse example. Having said that the car is in regular use and is nearly 30 years old so is not a brand new perfect car. It can however be described as in fantastic condition. Interior The leather interior is original and could do with retrimming to make perfect. (the top of the rear seat is dry through sun damage in Japan and the driver’s seat has minor wear to it. The seats are comfortable and perfectly usable. (the driver’s seat is electric). The wear isn’t dreadful and it is perfectly presentable as it is. The rest of the interior is excellent. Exterior Paintwork is excellent with a few minor stone chips and the odd very small age-related mark. There is nothing of concern. There is no corrosion Underside There was no corrosion to the underside prior to the application of the underbody treatment and the vehicle has never been welded. During the last MOT the vehicle was in a lot better condition than a five-year-old Jaguar that was prior to it and a three-year-old Vauxhall Astra that was having its first MOT. Mechanical Excellent throughout and has been regularly and well maintained by experts with this model. Consequently, it starts, stops and drives as it should do. The timing belt has been replaced regularly but is due to be changed (time) next year. The car will be serviced and inspected by Powerzed prior to being handed over to the new owner. MOT with no advisories was carried out in March 2018. Price £7,995 including all of the spare parts (which alone are worth £700 - £800) and everything listed above. Offered to the forum prior to Autotrader, etc. Loads of pictures available - please ask. Important Note Please remember that I was intending to keep this car for a very long time – business use for another 12 months and then retained as a classic car. Unfortunately, due to the success of work this isn’t a viable option. This is why the car is in such a condition and includes all the additional parts. You will note that the vehicle has a 52 plate. This is due to a DVLA registration error and the vehicle was given a plate associated with when it was first registered in the UK as opposed to when it was manufactured. References James (Jim/Jimmer) Thomas the owner of Powerzed has kindly offered to speak to anyone who wishes to take up references about the car or me for that matter, Jim’s contact details are: http://www.powerzed.com 0772 5886170 My contact details are: 07468 463305 or matthew.rees1@outlook.com The car is located West of Swansea, but I am happy to meet serious buyers at Powerzed in Bristol if required.
  7. Original magazine article using same photographs from June 2004 Issue 2 Practical Performance Car
  8. Bit of a shock, but that is actually my own car in the feature. (and I didn't know a thing about it). The pictures are taken from an article years ago which were done when in the possession of the previous owner by another magazine. I will dig the magazine out and can scan it in to compare. The 52 plate was a DVLA error. It was imported in 2002 and they registered it as a 52 plate. Still wears it today.
  9. Also agree. Very well put
  10. Having obtained an OEM radio cassette and CD player I now need a sub harness to go with it This is a small separate wiring harness sometimes called a Y harness that connects the two together and then connects to the vehicle loom A post on a USA website says you can get them from Nissan but I’ve looked everywhere for a part number and cannot find one. The Nissan dealer hasn’t got a clue without it Has anyone got any spare I can buy? Thanks Matthew
  11. A surreal moment. Travelling from Swansea to Windsor in the ZX today indicate to pull out to overtake slower traffic and was kindly allowed to by a silver ZX travelling in convoy with a modified 350Z. It must have made quite a sight the three cars abreast along the M4. Made my day
  12. WANTED Looking for an original spec radio cassette and separate CD player for a 1990 300ZX. Would prefer UK specification and working condition. Please PM with anything you have and what price you would like. Many thanks
  13. Wanted - good condition Mongoose Cat Back quad tip exhaust system. Thanks
