Zed for sale - SWB, Manual, NA
I'd like Zed to go to a good home, so I thought about advertising on here 1st. I do love these cars, but I want a camper! Unfortunately I can't afford both. The car has been well maintained for 10 years now, and I have a small folder with all relevant documents. The last 5 years has been used in dry conditions only. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.

27 years and running smooth
Ahhhh, things like that just go over my head sorry hahha. It does sound like a simple question, but I just couldn't remember what I'd used previously? The car runs superb, but as I'm doing about 2-300 miles per year, I thought from now on I'd change it once. Any major issues I had used to go to zedword . Yep 10w/40 seems the way to go though, thanks Art.

There are some classic films that just can't be re-made, or even copied. The words Cult and Iconic are never overused when talking about Ghostbusters. :-)

Groundhog Day! And Highlander?? Both excellent films :-). Thanks for the advice guys, much appreciated. Oh and I have no turbos , does that make a difference to lubricant needs?

27 years and running smooth
Hey guys! After some thought and seven years of owning Zed, I had decided to look into selling up. But! after removing the power steering solenoid, cleaning it up and tracking down some new o-rings (which I managed to find for 50p from GTP engineering, instead of £20 plus from Nissan and a three week wait) then taking him/her out for a spin, have decided to keep him. I was wondering what oil you guys use? It's been a while since a change, due to doing so few miles and its still pretty clear. I think my usual choice is either 0-30 or 5-30? Next job... front shocks and pads

Power steering solenoid
Thank you for your reply nicjwin. I have found some seals on PSKITS.com, will the kit be the same for my N/A as the TT? I can't see why turbos would make a difference on the steering, but I can't be sure with the many variants of these cars :) Cheers Matt

Power steering solenoid
Hey guys, I have found some power steering fluid leaking from the bottom of the power steering solenoid. Will it be worth replacing a simple gasket? Or do I need a new unit? Thank you Matt

Hello all :)
Hey guys! I have owned my Z for coming up to 7 years now, it's a 1991 N/A swb. I was originally looking for a TT but J828 JNP popped up on ebay and I had to place a bid! It's also a manual so everything I wanted (apart from turbos) but I'm still happy with it. Zed's mostly stock, appart from a powerflow system (so quite loud, but nice) straight from the manifolds, and a piper cross air filter. Oh I have also painted the stock wheels in black to match the bodywork. I work staggard shifts and I'm currently studying for the next year at college, so it may take some time for me to reply. I'm keen to learn about these cars though so prepare to answer some questions haha. Matt :thumbup1:

Is 12kg front springs too much?
Hello Sayers, thanks for your info. So are you just giving that stuff away? The car has been slightly tuned but I'm keeping It a stock ride I think, for now anyway. I may be able to pop over on one of the Sundays coming up as I work staggard shifts, if thats any good?

Is 12kg front springs too much?
Hello Alic, thanks for getting back to me :). For just cruzing around the midlands, visiting some car shows and stuff I've been happy with the stock shocks all round. So untill I can get some more cash I think stock is the way to go. What are the they rated at? I herd 6/4 mentioned ?? Sounds about right for these roads haha.

Is 12kg front springs too much?
Hi guys! I have owned my Z for coming up to 7 years now and there's just a slight mist of oil on one of the front shocks. How much can I expect to pay for a new set of stocks? I'm quite the novice with tuning but I'm hoping to learn from visiting this site, hopefully I can then pass knowledge on to others :)
