I have to go very slow over speed bumps due to pipes under my car. Is this normal. I dont know if my car has ben lowered, What should the height be and where do I measure it from. I suspect it has, and the only reason I have for this is I was looking at my power antenna and the rear speakers and the foam that covers the rear shocks has ben cut. Should I be able to see my stainless steel pipes when I look under my car. they seem to hang down a bit low. Thanks guys Konrad

I do too. is a bi embaressing to jump out of a Black Z, lock the door and your car makes this high pitch noise. Not Cool

Thanks Gaz I think you are on the right track.

Both of my doors lock. I have done some tests and if the button that lets the car know he door is closed is pushed and the doors are locked the noise starts. I think it has something to do with an alarm that was removed. I was trying to avoid taking the door card off. Hatstand How did you resolve your problem?

Sorry to hear it. Some *******s broke into my Merc in Brixton Monday and stole my stereo. Just about destroyed the wood surround for the A/C unit. I wish I could put my hands on them.

I ama a new member and I thought all of the pissing contest stuff was in jest. I like this site and I feel its a valuable resource and just because someone asks a question that has been asked before or wants to talk about something other than their car than that should be ok. Not everyone was here for the grand opening of 300zx.co.uk. I am quite sure the spirit in which this club was born from was not to end up being a place for people to have little tolerence for new people. I hear a high pitched noise coming fom the door. It continues until I unlock the door. So it will go all night or all week until I unlock the doors again. Any ideas. The sound seems to be coming from inside of the drivers door.\ Thanks Konrad

Sorry to hijack but I have one of these in my new Z but it does not light up when I turn on my lights. It was in the car when I bought it so I dont know anything about it. My question is should it light up at night. Its a little different from the one pictured, it has a black face and not buttons or nobs on it. Thanks.

Theres your business case then.

It would want to be a home cinema for that money. Then when the new technology comes out next year what do you do. If you get the Z it will never go out of fashion
