Sloppy idle, tech help needed please
Yeah sorry. I found out my MAF that I got with an air filter I bought was a non standard, so I put the standard one back on and it runs fine. The thing is, when I put the bad MAF on the car ran find for a few days so it didn't occur to me. Sent from my S60 using Tapatalk

Mine is an import so it's a different colour plug. I set that before I changed the MAF so it will need re doing but it's running pretty good now. Sent from my S60 using Tapatalk

Advice! New Gear Knob Fitted, Gaiter Issue
What you could do as a quick fix: Take off the centre console part while the knob is still attached Pull the whole thing up and the gaiter inside out Zip tie the bit of the gaiter, that is falling down, to the shaft. Trim it off Then put it back together The tie should hold the gaiter and stop it falling past the first ring and still look good. Chris - - - Updated - - - You dont have to use a zip tie, you could you anything just to clamp the gaiter

I'm afraid I won't be doing my seats. Some kind previous owner put some decent ones in and ill be happy to leave them in. Sent from my S60 using Tapatalk

Well, when I get it all done and I'm happy with the look, if it does fade, it would be well worth investing in some decent dye. Sent from my S60 using Tapatalk

Someone covered the twee in my car with vinyl, it looked good from a distance but it was rather tatty up close. I like the Tweed but grey? Black looks awesome, so I thought I'd do something about it. Sent from my S60 using Tapatalk

If i'm honest... some old printer ink/dye, free from work. It looks just as good as the pictures too, a nice deep black. Only took 2 coats.

Hi, Just thought some people might be interested in my mod. I dyed one of my door cards black. Comparing from the original Sent from my S60 using Tapatalk- Failed MOT on Carbon Monoxide emissions
Yes of course. I'm going to give it a tune up and do all the standard checks.- Failed MOT on Carbon Monoxide emissions
Ended up following this what AndrewG suggested http://www.300zx-twinturbo.com/tech/co/co.html- Failed MOT on Carbon Monoxide emissions
It finally passed, after a while of fettling. Just an advisory on brake pipes and some idiot jacked the car up on the sills, bending the seams.- Failed MOT on Carbon Monoxide emissions
Yeah I have read that thankyou. This is what I'm going to try when I take it for its re test. If that passes the test I will then give the car a full tune up. Sent from my D6503 using Tapatalk- Failed MOT on Carbon Monoxide emissions
He did it as a non cat test yeah. The hydro carbons were fine. It's the carbon Monoxide that was high at 4.9, he said it's supposed to be 3.5. Im going back on Thursday anyway but I need to do something to the car in order to make it pass Sent from my D6503 using Tapatalk- Failed MOT on Carbon Monoxide emissions
I'm struggling to read them pics. I don't really know the rules to be honest, but it failed. My Z is a 1993 Jap import TT - Tweed Mod
