Prematurely Zedless
Update I've had one quote back at £1416 for labor and painting. But I need to source the parts myself. The bumper and 99 spec lights are easy enough to get. But does anyone know of someone breaking a car that would be willing to chop that section out of the bodywork, preferably in the midlands. edit: And the bumper reinforcements Thank you

A cheap way to fix a dent maybe

Prematurely Zedless
A bus went into the side of my other car a couple of years ago and it was the same then, they were all to happy to take details down but then said they won't be chasing any of it up. Probably because the accident itself will put my premium up even though I wasn't anywhere near the car when it happened. EDIT: Although I do have another car so won't be needing a courtesy car, unless they offer me another equally powerful beast

I'm only TPFT so I've got to deal with it all myself :( A Ka parked at the side of the road (Opposite to mine) pulled out into traffic and hit an Audi (Old estate thing) into mine

Prematurely Zedless
This morning I was woken up by a knock on the door to tell me someone had driven into the back of the Z  :mac1:  :headvswal At least they had the decency to stop and give insurance details (The only witness being a police officer might have had something to do with it) To say I'm Pi**ed off is an understatement

I'm actually moving...
Glad to hear you're back on the road again Dianne, I shall probably see you soon.

Speedo stuck on Max speed ???
Do you also have problems with the speedo under/over reading or not reading at all? I had these problems with mine until friday when I ditched the speedo converter and swapped a resistor on the back of the speedo dial itself.

Water temp jumping around
The picture isn't perfect but shows roughly which pipe it is

Water temp jumping around
I've just been back out to the car with a colleague and can see the leak. about 20cm below the battery is a hose coming out of the bulkhead it seems to be open to atmosphere and leaking from there. I can't see underneath the car at the moment to check any further Edit: the hose is angled 90deg and is pointing almost directly down

Water temp jumping around
I've just been back out to the car, and there's a puddle on the floor approximately beneath the battery. I checked the passenger footwell and couldn't see any evidence of a leak in there so hopefully it's not the heater matrix. And fortunately I can't see any mayonaise in the oil cap or dip stick. Would I be OK to top the water level up and limp home on it (16 Miles) or should I really be looing at fixing it before moving it?
