  1. Hi this car was/is on my radar, just been so busy with work and also considering the whole manual / auto box plus a few other cars have recently come up. Plus I still think that a manual 2+2 TT is still the car that people think of for a 300zx I do think we are seeing prices rising but it's early days, it takes time for people to realise that, so current prospective buyers like me have the seen prices rise in the past 2 years so for whatever reason they didn't buy a car a few years ago (it was kids for me) they now have to get over the fact they are going up in value which is great for the Z but as many know its not about buying one of these it's about the time and money to keep it on the road. IMO I think if this was a manual it would have gone straight away. Price wise from a prospective buyer I think that: 3k to 5k for an original car in great condition won't sit around for long 4k to 7.5K Well looked after modded car. Of course there will be Z cars that buck the trend but prices are on the up but you don't buy one of these cars with your head even the best man maths doesn't add up to making these a cheap car run. That said I'm still hoping I will be driving one this year.
  2. white version S back up for auction again on the 7th Jan 2016 looks like it's not sold in the past 12 auctions? Guess it either has a high reserve or i'm missing something looks very clean.
  3. Well the Yellow one is back up for auction again on the 6th Jan 2015 along with a couple of other not so good lucking 300s Grade3
  4. I am over in notts alot with work so will pop over to you garage Mark. It would be good just to have a look around a few 300s so if your working an any in Jan I call around if that's OK? and say hi. I have learnt so much already from the forum. Great bunch of people on here and I'm hoping I can catch up with you all at some events next year and hopefully i may own 300zx. Keeping my eyes peeled to see what cars come on the market (Gazwoz) and if anyone spots or heres of any let me know.
  5. Wow that colour really pops in the sun light. Having never seen that colour in the flesh does the interior have a purple hue as well looks like it from the pictures. Great looking car looks like gazwoz is really finding some great example's.
  6. Amazing looking SWB, wide arch conversion is a real work of art. Corbeau RRS seats look great to, have you kept the original electrics in position then on the seats? Looking forward to seeing what you get up to with car looks great so far.
  7. Wow looks like a lot of work but a bargain. Even if you strip it and sell all the bits you should be £'s in. Good luck with it hope you get it back on the road.
  8. Thanks for the help Mark, think you answered evertything on Facebook pretty well.(That's me presuming it was you) I still like the look of that wide arch white one just would have been interested to know why the original seller decided to move on. As the current seller knows very little about the car and just seems to want to shift it on. Thanks Mark ( ps you don't know anyone in around derby who would be likley to give me a few pointers on the 300.) I'm sure I will be bringing it along to you if I do end up getting one this year.
  9. I was looking for a manual, guess its because I have never had an auto. But guess I just need to check a few out.
  10. Which car? Or has he decided to keep it now
  11. Well Mark kent shed a bit of light on the car sounds like its a someone does a bit of car dealing who has taken it in px. I do think it's overpriced and might be hiding something seems strange that someone would take all the trouble of finishing it and not sticking with it for a while seeing as all the engine work was only finished early 2015 and the respray was only 2 months ago but with out knowing the full story I always think the worst.
  12. Thanks for the heads up. One to give a wide birth, I was suspect after contacted them via PistonHeads, something just didn't seem right. Still looking forward to finding something no rush though.
  13. Thanks cutty I'm in Sheffield a few times a month with work so might have to take you up on that.
  14. Yep I'm like most people in the club. I tend to keep my motors looking very stock with just engine and handling mods.
  15. Yes I had seen that and his business is close to me. So I'm sure if I can find a 300 it will end up at his place.
