  1. Im undecided yet on what i would like to do
  2. If you access to a ramp or can drive the car with the front wheels of the ground and not under load you can determine whether its suspension/brakes and if it persists try removing wheels and try again
  3. Hello richard thanks for the warming welcome
  4. also if you could post exhaust manifolds your using too would be great just looked at CZP website and the MSP ones are $2000 :scared: and the ams/avs are well priced but are they an upgrade?
  5. hello was wondering what turbos people are using and what sort of power and lag they are getting. i am looking at using the mamba gtx2871r kit and wanted to see what people recommend also in case im making the wrong decision thanks.
  6. that sounds really reliable then what did you have done to map the stock ecu just a chip? nistune? i may have to invest in a new loom too. maybe ill give it another chance haha also who tuned it?
  7. my first thoughts were the same but then i researched it a little saw more projects and finished builds and it peaked my interests i believe you can save around 100kg on the engine alone plus keeping the z32 standard from transmission back is sweet too, i like simplicity and think the sr can handle good reliable power in most cases. i assume no one has done the swap here then? maybe its an american thing also what turbo/injector/engine management setup are you guys using for the vg30dett, parts and where did you source them rough cost ect
  8. i can weld and was going to go electric power steering for simplicity if i can, fuel lines are no issue the cars been apart a lot its got full drift works suspension so subframes have been down a couple times along with the engine too, surely even a 400hp would suffice. i like the v6 too but im not sure thats why im here good to have opinions and help from other experienced z32 owners, also who is the tuning god for the z32 around here?
  9. End goal 500whp, i can do all the work myself as im a technician and have access to a workshop 24/7, just researching the rest of the bolt ons and it looked like mega money as i need 2 of most things rather than one. The sr parts looked more readily available in the uk. If i lived in america then yeah roll on the vg build lol not sure whether to buy a standalone and possible get that tuned to see what i make maybe put bigger injectors too
  10. Yeah i know im just not enjoying the engine at the moment, naybe its just a phase and i need another project. Also im at the point where i want to go standalone ecu, bigger turbos and bigger injectors so super expensive as everything seems to come from the usa and have import tax and high shipping costs, also need a new wiring loom as im sure its causing me issues. Then i saw the sr in a z and the simplicity was amazing.
  11. New to using forums so still trying to work my way round it, thanks for the link gaz
  12. Its at castle combe on the 2nd june, £12 earlybird tickets or £20 on the gate
  13. Anyone going to jdmcombe on the 2nd june? Also is there a lub stand for jae this year as there were about 3 z32 in total last year that i saw was pretty disappointing.
  14. Hello made an account here apparently 3 years ago but now trying to be more active Own a 300zx manual tt Looking into sr20 swap so my forged vg30dett may be up for sale
