Targa drain fix question....
Cable ties weren't necessary on the copper pipe section but I have 100's so got carried away :)

Targa drain fix question....
Cheers Medallion, Luckily I took your advice and measured it myself as I got the pipe before you made the correction lol Anyway I've completed the passenger drain pipe now and it wasn't too bad to be fair, the pipe had shrunk about an inch. It now drains as it should, tried to upload a video but no success as yet :/

Targa drain fix question....
For the fix in this thread.... http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?158042-Drivers-targa-pipe-fix Is this still one of the best ways to approach this and if so what is the diameter of the metal pipe i'll probably need? Obviously I could measure said pipe when I uncover it but want to get the metal pipe before attempting the fix as it's my daily and hopefully I can do this over a couple of days off. If there are better fixes, feel free to point me in their direction :) Thanks Aaron

Not 100% but if you enter mousehold at The Castle pub end then the speed bumps start after you turn off for the prison cafe but I'm heading into the city tomorrow or Tuesday so will check.

Will these fit?
Yep research clearly required! I just assumed there would be a generic alloy size/width and offset you guys use when wanting to bring the alloys flush with the arches.......today's lesson is never assume!

Norwich gathering
I assume it would suit most people to do it at a weekend so with that in mind how does Sunday 16th August sound?
-
Norwich gathering
Mid August works for me, I'll check my rota tomorrow and we'll see if we can start thinking of a specific date.

Awesome, Ted gave me the heads up regarding Steve and osty, so Pm's have been sent their way. When would be good for you?

Norwich gathering
Well I'm pretty open to suggestions of when, I'm a student Paramedic so my shifts are all over the place too. Doesn't have to be a big meet I'm happy to do it even if it can only be 2-3 people.

Will these fit?
Yeah sorry first sizes were from a set of specific alloys i'd found, whereas the second were advice received from another member. Lots to think about, conversely having a look at a previous thread perhaps it'd be better to go with 9.5's front and back et20?
-
Will these fit?
Hmmm so in terms of the perfect set up for wheels being flush with the arches with out any modifying, what would you recommend front and rear? I was told 18x10 et35 would work front and rear??
-
Will these fit?
Looking at some new alloys, found the one's I want and they are 18x10 et25. Will these be flush with the arches and not require spacers or arch rolling. What tyre sizes would you recommend going with? Cheers Aaron

Norwich gathering
Hi guys/gals Does anyone fancy a meet sometime soon? Doesn't have to be anything special, possibly the prison cafe in Norwich, nice car park overlooking mousehold heath and the city. Obviously I'm new to this club and zed's in general so will be good to meet a few of you guys and learn some more about my car and local mechanics that people use etc. I'll see whose interested and then we can sort a date to suit. The cafe website.....http://www.cafebritannia.co.uk/ The view from the car park opposite..... Aaron

On the look out
.......and a big thanks to Noel(turbonoz) for hooking me up, it's been a long time in the pipeline, I first messaged him March 27th regarding this car and finally it's here :) though the delay did mean me owning this awesome 4x4 so all in all it's been a good few months!

On the look out
It's a '93 manual SWB N/A, she needs a good scrub but here she is as we speak....... Chuffed with her, she covered the trip back from Noel's effortlessly, long may that continue.......touch wood! :)

meeting up
What a bloody shit end to what had been a great day! Popped down to pacific works (125miles) got my supercharger lights popped on, new momo steering wheel with snap off boss on, wiring issue sorted, boosting issue sorted and all for a ridiculous 120 quid! Then nearly home notice low oil pressure, kept an eye on it but it stabilised just under normal.2 miles later and home have a look under the car and its dripping out and covered the back end including the new lights oh the joys! Needless to say it's now undrivable until sorted. Could be a while as I'm not mechanically minded overly. So I can't make the meet, gutted more so because I wanted to meet you guys and your car's. Shitty bloody day!

meeting up
Blimey that is an awesome number! That gives me a nice bit of reassurance over taking her to 300 :-) Ah yes the zed engine, we'll put that down to a newbie question! Are you coming to the meet? I'm popping down to pacific works on Saturday for a little work, (wiring problem I think)and hopefully popping my supercharger lights on.

She's just stock rev2 turbo at the moment, concentrating on a few cosmetic jobs over the next couple of months and then I'll look at increasing the power. I think she could easily and reliably handle around 300bhp so that'll be the aim. I'm having a senior moment "old VG"???
