no worries, but I actually managed to eventually split it and have put the EL panel in and have just put it back together, do you bother putting the 4 pins back in or not? and which wires do you wire it to anyone got a picture of theirs?

sorry to bring this thread back from the dead, I cant for the life of me get my panel split in half, not enough heat and it doesn't move and too much it started to melt and hairdryer is *****cks, anyone selling one they have already made? or someone fancy making me one? looking for the outlines of the writing done in red.

ouch! how did you get the adhesive off? there's like 3 huge bits that are impossible to move!

spent about 3.5 hours removing my foamy spoiler to reveal a disgusting mess underneath that I will be cleaning up tomorrow! yay!

yeah car off and fog lights off, it it a cheap meter but when I tested the battery terminals it was 12.20, yeah the decimal point was showing 2 digits before and after. znut - what do you mean on the 2nd part of your post im not sure I understand? if I cant try anything else I will just get my mechanic to have a look.

just tested the foglight power source mith a multimeter and its getting power but the voltage read like 10 then 11 something and keeps going up and down when the car is off is that normal?

the new bulbs do work as I was replacing the headlight bulbs at the same time to tried them in there. the wires looked fine going it to the foglight, could there be another connection further up the wire come undone? where do the wires go?

would like to know whats wrong before I spend money on hids to find out they wont work either because its a fault else where

passenger fog light bulb stopped working for some reason, got a new bulb and went to fit, the new bulb doesn't work... tried 2 new bulbs and checked the fuse which is fine, they both didn't work which makes me think its wiring related :( any one help?

just thought id ask, mine is the opposite problem I can open it with the release catch ( even though no clicking, sometimes have to pull on it twice) but I cant open it with the key, key goes it but it just wont turn!

dipped beam is a h3 with spade connector and fog light is also h3 but with a bullet connector? definitely not h3c

foglight is a h3, but has like round connector and not the spade type?

it seems only that one is facing the wrong way... could you help me or point me in the right direction for a few of these problems. boot lock wont turn with the key, seems stuck but can open with release catch? fog light bulb is out and not sure which type to get as it looks like some sort of Japanese bulb I've never seen before? I think this is a common problem the reverse lights don't seem to work?
