Picking up some Championship edition 2007 BBS LM in Diamond black 10j 18 came in from Japan Sexual legendary wheels picking them up on Friday 8 hours round trip but worth it for my street wheel's. In 2007- BBS ran a small production run of Limited Edition, championship edition wheels that are black chrome/ diamond black and were called BBS DKB's. These are very rare and are by far the best colour Just need to order some Tein Street Flex Coilovers I'll run a slight stretch with probably 255 35 or 40 maybe with a slight camber adjustment as well lowered slightly bit of an aggressive look but nothing too radical. I'll play around with the set-up properly make my mind up how I want it. I'll be keeping my 16s for Santa Pod ect. Just need to get round to ordering my OEM 99 bumper drop my new Recaros in, and the rear lights with centrepiece and the strip with the brake light also get the steering wheel handbrake gear leather and red stitching squared. That probably be next month now as these wheels cost an absolute fortune probably more than most people's runarounds lol! she's a special Z so deserves the best:rockon:

Yeah I've been looking around online and I can't make my mind up so I'm going to leave it for now lol Love stitching pattern in the red seats but I'm leaning towards the Recaro blue. Which seat is the lighter one I'm guessing the Recaro probably not by much though? Also if I'm going to be doing a few track days occasionally I'll probably be better off with the Recaro.. In any case I'll definitely be keeping the original seats and probably take them up to you to get redone at a later date. My priority is to get the wheel redone and for you to do the handbrake gaiter gear shifter eccetera Mondo please. nice fresh leather with red stitching yummy.

Well that's awesome news I kind of like these seats like the little 300ZX logo on it and the not heavy electrical ones which is good. weight is important to me, I'd like to keep the original seats to be honest but with the work involved I know it can get quite expensive and trying to weigh up if it's really worth doing or just put the recaros I currently have in it? Also the recaros I have now that are pretty much new as they've been recovered and had new bolstering.do i get some cheap recaros and get you to recover those like OEM spec ones? decisions decisions.

Hi Si good spotting... it had quite a lot of paint because it's had a full respray done and it looks like the paint shop got a bit carried away lol. Yeah I know they shouldn't be sprayed over but I personally prefer it that way I know you can say the black lines break up some of the white but for me I like it the way it is, roof will probably be staying black but the bonnet will definitely be sprayed white also have 99 OEM front bumper will be fitted fog lights will be taken out and replaced with the inserts that will also be sprayed white and I'll probably update the rear lights to the 99 including the centrepiece. Also it's getting treated underneath fully to prevent any corrosion. I think it's a wonderful bass to start from as it's only one owner from Japan with 42000 miles on it and I only wanted a slicktop, also the more money I paid for one in Japan the more I would get ripped off on VAT Rip Off Britain lol. I'm going to do it properly with OEM bits I'm not going to put no silly big body kits on it and paint dragons down the side lol but it will be quite different in a very good way just improved upon in handling and power. I'm not even going to tell you what I've got planned for the engine because it would probably upset you lol that's for another thread later on down the line. But it's going to be big displacement and big single turbo lol but I need to buy my house first before that.

Woke up to a great email this is what I've been looking forward to got the pictures sent today and well she does look amazing spotless underneath paint looks great I'm well chuffed.

Ok so it looks like she's being loaded on the 28th from what Gazwoz was saying and should be starting her long journey, should be with me hopefully end of May will be a nice birthday present. Still waiting on the pictures apparently they can take up to 2 weeks can't wait I'm getting fed up of looking at 3 pictures LOL. I'm going to be leaving shortly to Tiptree 3 hour round trip going to pick up some uk-spec wheels at least I'll have a 8.5J on the rear with some 255s should look much better. Hello Mondo As soon as my slicktop arrives from Japan can I send you my steering wheel for refurbishment so it looks brand new it's the one with the airbag would it also be possible to get some red stitching done around it? Have you also got some high grade leather for the handbrake and shifter Boots so I can replace those. Much appreciated!

Thanks for your suggestion that's exactly what I will do! Hopefully can do some red stitching in around it too much the new gear shifter knob. The only other thing left to get for interior wise is get a new leather Shifter boot with the handbrake boot leather trim not the low-grade stuff from eBay I want high grade leather so it looks OEM with a nice bit of red stitching around it maybe? But i Don't know where to get them from except for the gear knob I can get that from the Z Centre with the rest of the OEM bits. I love the OEM recaros the blue or the red ones you get in the later spec but I think they will be impossible to get? I've got brand new Recaro confetti seats that we're going to go in the Supra but I think these will look pretty nice got the HKS theme with purple stitching. But if I did see the OEM Recaro so I would probably sell these and stick those in.... It was a 3.5 grade in auction but after all the work what gets done it should bump it up to a 4.5 :clap:

Yes front projector lights, well that's handy that they're are actually all made from glass a lot of the other cars that I've owned Mitsubishi GTO and mk4 Supra headlights are in plastic and some are glass obviously the glass is more expensive and sought after. Yeah I agree with you after comparing the two I think the older ones do look quite nice a good Polish up if need be and maybe respray the black housing look spot on. The side lights will be replaced with the open inserts and sprayed white to match. I need some help with the steering wheel I've got the one with the airbag in it do I get it refurbished or does anybody have a link to a new one? If not I might replace it with a nardi dish black leather with red stitching. Sweet z32 with an aftermarket bumper.

Alright I didn't know that I'm still finding out things about this chassis, my background is Mark 4 Supra Mitsubishi GTO and Toyota Soarer. There's loads of little things to learn about them with the different specs with S and R different series things as well. I've got a few books today have ordered from Japan so I can get some good ideas! I'm definitely getting a 99 OEM bumper sent to Gary to get fitted along with the 99 rear lights centrepiece and the strip above. I'm just shocked to see how expensive the LED lights are £1800 is a shocking price and definitely not worth it? Are they even made out of glass the Supra lights quite expensive now but these are like three times more money nearly.

That looks HOT rocking the 99 lights 350z wheels and 99 wing mirrors. Can't wait till the summer for some club meets.

Hi Yeah that's the thing I've looked at a few cars that have the black roof with the black tint on the window I think it looks quite colour coordinated so I might leave it but I'm definitely getting the bonnet sprayed white. I still haven't made my mind up 100% yet if I'm going to spray the roof white as well? Yeah I possibly might be interested in the wheel. I think I'm leaning towards just getting all of it sprayed white lol

No I don't really I'll have to look into it more check the Zed Centre ect but it looks quite similar to your bumper :thumbup1:

Lol yeah hopefully I'll be getting 30 photos sent to me soon enough then I can put a few up I've got a lot of plans for this one anyway to make it look the part.

Thank you Yes the plan is to get the 99 facelift bumper or get an aftermarket one that looks OEM but has the bigger air intake on the front of it I'll put a picture of the one I like. Unfortunately the previous owner has the roof and bonnet in Black which is not to my liking so that will be getting sprayed to match the rest. With regards to the steering wheel I was thinking about a nardi with red stitching? Or new OEM one as I think the owner had a lot of rings on his fingers warn it quite badly lol. That's basically the look I want to go for with the Z

Like to say a very big thanks to club Importer Garry/GazWoz who made this happen! She was manufactured in October 96 with 43k on the clock one owner from new! I'm over the moon with excitement first time ever getting one from an auction in Japan. The only thing now I have to wait 8 weeks at least for it to land in the UK, then Gary is getting the roof and bonnet resprayed in white to match the rest of the car and getting everything else ready as well with the registration etc for me to pick up. I'm just looking at ordering a new OEM steering wheel gear knob and a few other interior bits to make it look like brand new. I've got some brand new confetti Recaro seats already that I did not put into my Supra as I sold that last week. I've all way's wanted a Fairlady Z fresh from JP my plan now with the Z is to make it look like it just rolled out from the assembly line and look after her. I'll probably drop a twin-turbo lump in her later on in the future 550ps anyone? This is a great club to be a part of definitely my favourite lots of good advice and friendly enthusiasts.

Yeah with regards to that kind of thing the car has definitely been tracked or drifted... engine bay looks bad looks like it's puked up oil oily substance over types etc so we're going to give it a miss. It had some nice modifications done to it that I liked but it could even have worn out synchros low compression engine. I think it's worth taking the risk. At least I'm in good hands and I trust Gary will find me something very cool.

Good spotting! It's exactly what I'm looking for and it's got quite a lot of aftermarket bits on it, I'll be happy as a pig in shit if everything checks out. If not I'll have to wait could be ages before another one comes up as the majority are 2+2 with the tops. Gary has requested a load of additional information as soon as he hears anything back he will let me know and everything is fine I'll pull the trigger on this.
