The recent cold spell has at last blown my rear spoiler! The info i request will pos be of help to other members> Removal plenty of posts & threads on this fiddley but d i y job Opinions views recomendations on car mad fibre glass replacement spoiler zed centre spoiler or of any spoiler that covers this area Fitting to Tailgate bonding ! what does this mean what is it can you d i y what is the addesive ? recomend a make type Brand? It appears my spoiler was fitted after my car was sprayed by Nissan so could a replacement be painted then fitted bonded in place ??? If not Fitted Then paint shop Does complete Tailgate need spraying?? The plastic strip with brake light will this fit say CAR MAD spoiler Best place to purchase NISSAN ? or ? Last did NISSAN leave wiring in tailgate ready for this extra brake light Bit longwinded your help info much APPRECIATED im sure by others as well

Manual shows two adjustment screws, To move up/down, L&Right, on each headlight, States adjust dipped beam ist, Then gives info on adjustment to main beam, no info on screws for this ? same screws ? What to do, adjust main or dipped, only ? Recently fitted H I D conversion, causing a bit of upset to other road users.

I intend to connect supply to ballast box from original bulb connector, That right [please confirm ] What to do with the black wire that is left in Headlight when you remove old bulb? Its a swiched negative , Just leave ? Last ? You guys who fitted H I D conversion, did you need to have lights set up again , to avoid dazzel? Thanks for help on this upgrade bulb

7th March meet what time? Rain or shine?

Giving the old girl a good check over , I found the common problem , the knock sensor, code came up . Well do i reposition on one of the rear plenum bolts or bypass with 1k resister ? whats the best in the long term ? I have a spare sensor, so cost is not a problem. Thanks for any advice.

Trying to remove L H Side [ pass side] gas sensor, I know Nissan have a special tool for this, Any one managed without it? I though of cutting off the top section just leaving the hex ,for socket, anyone tried this? Or has any of you guys in Kent near Canterbury area, got this special tool to lend me Any help please, advice tips M O T soon , faulty gas sensor= high C O 2

Any one know what ,or have had, a broken E G R valve[ not solinoid] If so what are or could be the symtoms, I know the diaphram lifts on suction; but the valve / spring thingie ? cant get my head around pluging off exhaust manifold , thanks for any advice e g r e g

chec,k those oxy sensors /if faulty you will run rich, pipe off will only cost you in the long run [m p g ]

going to do a boost/leak check, any advice on max pressure for this , dont want do any damage, thanks guys . any tips on your [learnt] by you guys that have carried this test

what are the main reasons for removal of this e g r set up? can it be done with out engine removal? any problems with M O T [ co emissions ] any one had this valve break? not the diaphram, not the solinoid, but the plunger that lifts to allow gases back into plenum , thanking you guys for advice on this egr set up

what do these valves do ? at what stage of engine load, do these opperate? trying to find a strange metalic sucking/ hissing noise, only get this at low speeds 20 _40 m p h in 2_ 3 or 4th gear when putting my foot down, done vacume test , ok , checked e g r & aiv valves seem ok, engine is realy running well boosts ok , just cant get my head round what wastegates do ? any advice please

at what stage when driving does this valve recirculate exhaust gases back to ? Imm getting a guite loud tinny sucking noise ay low speeds between say 20_40 m p h normal road driving , in second or third gear , when i give it a bit of throttle.. could a faulty e r g cause this? and is it possible to replace this unit without plenum removal?, hope one of you guys can help a old boy, must sort this out .

after a few months of a quite loud hissing/ sucking noise , found both sides a i v s under both front wheel arches [, behind arch liner ] on testing found they would not hold vacume , on sucking the small pipes pipes from a i v solinoid . my ? can i do away with these units , what do you guys do when you decat with straight through pipes , from tubs,and would removal affect M O T co2 test

advice on reasonable cost H I D adaption on dipped headlights ,where to buy? also need to replace my vacume pipes with silicon , we had a dealer on our club any one know who ?

on a general check over got code 34 [ o no ] well checked normal things wiring connectors etc all ok so fitted another det sensor to loom bolted to plenum for earth cleared ecu now got code 55. my question is can this s ensor be repositoned? anyone done this? anyadvice on driving the car with this fault? non moded standard u k 94 tt .nowdays drive quite sensible,never prolonged boost , who can on our roads ! your advice please

I need to bring home my auto Z from my boys garage , approx 15 miles distance . been stored in his garage for several months runs ok , but need to carry out some work before i mot , insure ,@ tax advice is it legal to have this car towed [being not road legal] and could towing cause damage to auto box ? i could have engine running, giving me steering and brakes . any help on this , please

i had simular problem last year , i checked every thing , brakes, bearings , you name it ,by chance i noticed that the tnin metal cover that protects the A B S sensor , on the side of diff to C V J shaft , had rusted and was rubbing on sensor, hard to beleave it could make such a squeal worth a look , let me know

leak seems to be above oil filter back end of engine, could i suspect valve covers , hope not head gasket . are there any oil pipes or pipe unions near top ?this means plenum removal any help with this fiddley task on pages? last intend to replace p c v valves @pipes [ 5 pipes can only see 2] what am i missing please help one of your oldest member[69] thanks

bit confused i thought was just two valves on underside rear on each side of plenum thanks for help and advice

what are the symtoms when faulty ? can you replace without removing the plenum ? where to obtain , club dealer

there is a speed modual on side of the fan unit , this can die . nissan dealer /

missed the recent poll on zed owners age etc : i must be the old man of the club ? 69 in august owned and still have a 94 auto uk for the last 8 years also own and drive daily , a very sorted 91 jap manual in silver complete front to rear body kit , plus many many engine and transmisson mods my kids and their kids call me the old boy racer , any one know of any other O.A.P owner

starts o k , engine hunts between 500 @ 1500 for about 30 seconds ,then settles to about 1100 for approx 1 minute, then drops to 750 , the problem, as soon as I try to increase revs [ not in gear] engine hesitates ,drops about 200 r p m ,s sometimes cuts out. unless i hold revs at about 1100 [slip clutch] reversing out of garage and drive , engine will hesitate / cut out . after driving for about 5 minutes ,temperature guage normal mid position no probs . car drives and boosts well. i have checked eng temp sensor , new spark plugs, cleaned throttle chambers, and checked synchronization . checked for hose leaks , as far as youi can reach, all coil and injector conectors replaced 1 year ago , so i think E C U thinks engine has reached correct temerature to early .? any help / advice / suggestions wellcome . last thing anyone near me in kent canterbury,have a consult ,to give my love one a check over ?
