  2. i looked at a black 240z with a racing spec engine 2 years ago. wish so much that i had bought it. was only 4.5k :( it was even in fairly good condition! sounded almost as good as the Griff. damn it! everytime someone posts about the 240 im reminded of what i missed out on!

  5. no no spacers on there, will just take it to my local mechanic chap who will sort it out! i will end up making a mess of it somehow if i did it myself! take it its not really safe to drive with only 4??
  6. hurtling down the motorway at the weekend i started to brake lightly as i approaced the sliproad and heard a slight banging from n/s/r wheel, only happened when braked that first time so pulled off motorway and stopped car. checked around the car and nothing appeared wrong, gave the wheel a gentle push and pull and found slight play. undid the centre cap and found 1 stud sheared clean off with 1/2 inside my locking wheel nut :( all the others were very loose :( tightened the remaining 4 up as tight as i could and trundled off home. gonna take it to the garage later in the week, what sort of price am i looking at to get fixed? i guess i will have to buy 4 x new long wheel nuts now :( damn, front end respray will have to wait another couple of weeks :headvswal c'est la vie

  10. i put my old man on the insurance for the TVR and it raised the quote by £100! didnt mind to much as he paid the lot! must pay him back at some point....
  11. car failed on no front n/s indicator and a tiny bit of welding. quite relieved, havent used the car in nearly a year so was half expecting worse! booked in for welding and 99spec bumper fitting then good to go!

  21. mine is up for sale but nothing to do with petrol prices. got 4 cars between 2 of us so some have to go... bye bye nissans Z and Almera :(

  23. i was 26 when i got mine and insurance was only £600 dropped steadily every year only paid £300 last year :)
