TVR Cerbera
it was up for £10,995 got a bit off that but not very much! yeah its the rv8 500 with Taraka conversion (uprated engine goodies - cams, pistons etc etc) i thought insurance wasnt to bad, limited mileage, social use only >> £600 put my dad on and it jumped another £100! kept laura off it!! tuscans are dropping in price quite alot at the moment, probably a good reason for that - must be due rebuilds! the RV8 is just a big uncomplicated lump and not that many go horendeously wrong. more electrical faults and other niggles. and DAMN DAMN dodgy handbrakes! waiting for mine to get front end respray after the prang. been in the 4 months or so now, really not too happy

TVR Cerbera
will gladly take you for a spin if/when mine comes back! i suppose its like anything - you pay your money u take your chances, could end up with a minter or a dog! i bought mine for the sound! oh boy! when i went for a look around her the owner started her up and that was me sold! sounds sensational. dont think the interior on the griffith is anyting spectacular unlike the tuscan/cerbera. everything is just where you need it though. steering is razor sharp clutch weighs a ton! impossible to drive happily round town, but mine has been played with a fair bit :) the Z makes me smile when i drive it still - everyday at the moment the TVR makes me grin like a raving looney!

TVR Cerbera
looked at them before i went for the Griff, had a chat with the owner of hexham horseless carraiges and he gave me a bit of an eye opener for if things were to go wrong! lovely looking cars but id be wary of engine rebuilds and even he general cost of service. brakedust on here has one i think, maybe drop him a pm or have a look in he relevent PH forum for owners advice

decided to keep her
i will take up your TVR challange up hartside ;) providing its back by then... :)

posted the same thing on a few different forums there, hardly a crime i would have thought... here is my sin binned transcript Hi Nick, sorry to drag you in here but could you please stop cross posting in all the main forums. One post in General gassing would be seen by the vast majority of the various marques owners. Edited by Big Al. on Saturday 2nd August 18:26 clarkmagpie 190 posts 7 months [report] Yesterday (20:26) how long am i in here for?? clarkmagpie 190 posts 7 months [report] Yesterday (20:32) the reason i posted the topic in various forums was so i can get a decent gathering of cars and choose the marques that i would like to appear rather than open it up to the masses. i dont want just any old tom, dick or harry turning up and spoiling what i hope will be a rather good day. im a bit miffed that i have been sin binned because of this. it was maybe 8-10 groups so hardly like i posted on every forum. i for one only look at maybe 3 forums, tvr, p&p and general gassing. so if something like this was being organised by say for instance the aston martin boys, i wouldnt see it unless they posted up in the tvr section. do you get what i mean?? anyway. regards, Nick. Big Al. Original Poster 14,516 posts 70 months [report] Yesterday (21:24) All I'm asking is that you limit your cross posting, you say you really only have your favourite forums selected TVR and Gen Gassing, I would suspect that most petrol headers also have Gen Gassing set as a favourite. Cross posting on a couple of forums would probably be overlooked; across multi forums unfortunately is a . If you really want to see that a post is seen you could always ask that it be given a sticky. Please don’t think that the Sin Bin is used only to punish people, totally the opposite really it just somewhere away from the main forum to have a quite word and address any issues. clarkmagpie 190 posts 7 months [report] Yesterday (23:19) but i cant now access the main forums? i was aiming for the people who perhaps dont look in the main forums... Advertisement Big Al. Original Poster 14,516 posts 70 months [report] Yesterday (23:30) Then I suggest you post in Gen Gassing and request a sticky. clarkmagpie 190 posts 7 months [report] Yesterday (23:41) a sticky for what?? and when am i allowed back into normal posting? Big Al. Original Poster 14,516 posts 70 months [report] Yesterday (23:45) A Sticky is what is usecd to keep the thread at the top of the forum index. If you agree to stop cross posting your out of here. clarkmagpie 190 posts 7 months [report] Yesterday (23:47) i agree!! the only thing tho is, i really dont want to start a sticky letting everybody in cars i dont wish to appear be allowed access. are my original threads intact or have they been deleted? Big Al. Original Poster 14,516 posts 70 months [report] Yesterday (23:56) They are still the at the moment. clarkmagpie 190 posts 7 months [report] 00:07 please dont delete them. Big Al. Original Poster 14,516 posts 70 months [report] 00:12 It's not my final decision. clarkmagpie 190 posts 7 months [report] 00:13 what?? well who's is it then?? Big Al. Original Poster 14,516 posts 70 months [report] 00:22 Haymarket the website owners. clarkmagpie 190 posts 7 months [report] 00:24 FFS great answer, cheers Big Al. Original Poster 14,516 posts 70 months [report] 00:25 Sorry? what was you expecting you asked me a question I gave you an answer. clarkmagpie 190 posts 7 months [report] 00:27 i was expecting to be let back and post sometime soon Big Al. Original Poster 14,516 posts 70 months [report] 00:33 If you are going to be rude, I'll just say goodnight and leave it to Haymarket to let you out on Monday. Just for the record I do not get paid to be a moderator, I like the rest of the moderators on the site are volunteers. clarkmagpie 190 posts 7 months [report] 00:36 do you think that is really being rude?? if im really nice and give you a big kiss better would that make it ok?
