I drove from Suffolk (near Ipswich) to Dunstable Beds 220miles round trip a few weeks ago Using cruise control most of the time with A/C running all the time £40 still had a little left when i got home !! Not bad as i did have a little fun with a Mercedes on the A14 So its not all doom and gloom ! Oh yes mines also for sale at the moment !
  3. I found this on a web page that gives people motoring advice : "Driving Tips Car Sickness Different people are susceptible to car sickness in different ways, but the reason for feeling queasy is associated in most cases with motion. A frequent cause of sickness is being unable to associate the feeling of motion with where the car is going, so it often helps if the passenger can see the road ahead - sitting in the front rather than the back can make all the difference. Stuffy conditions can also be a problem, so ensuring good airflow through the car (by opening a window or turning up the climate control) may make passengers feel better. Car sickness can also be caused by rough driving. Firm but gentle steering, even application of the brakes and constant pressure (where possible) on the accelerator pedal will all be appreciated by passengers, even if they don't know why." They should show this to my wife, the bit about "constant pressure on the accelerator pedal" She screams at me to slow down as it makes her feel sick ! :duffer: Where do these people get there info from :xxx: :xxx:

  9. Amsterdam is more than just Drugs and hoes !! Its a very nice place to visit. The red light area is a small area in Amsterdam much like Soho in London, How come when people say there of to London no one screams and shouts about the prostitues and sex shops ?? People like her need to get out and travel see a bit of the world As for Blackpool i went there last year for the first time ever and im sorry to say the main area near the tower is a sh*t hole stag and hen partys puking and pissing in the street !! Sorry if your from there im sure all of Blackpool is not like it, but from what i saw i prefer Amsterdam any day of the week !!
  10. Holy Sh*t You got convictions etc ? THats bad mines Just been renewed for next month £317 Fully comp protected etc :wack: :wack:
  11. At the same time though surely if the vehicle is insured whilst its off road having re build maintenance or stored if its damaged you covered for costs ? My car is insured all year round regardless, its something ive always done. If the garage was damaged or the car nicked etc im covered ! SO it does have some benefits. I think it would depend on the small print ie: exclusions to cover and value it would be covered for if its in bits etc ? i think the argument on this will run on for ever. :(
