  1. Hi all. I am after some advice. I have a 1988 Nissan 300zx that I bought in 1998 and took it off the road in July 1998 when I got a company vehicle. It was declared sorn that year but at the time I never realised you had to renew it. I never had any further dealings with the dvla over the car and I moved house in 2002. I took the car with me and put it in a garage where it has stayed since then. I am now looking to put the car back on the road but I'm worried that I will face a hefty fine for A: not continuing to sorn the vehicle and B: for not changing my address when I moved and lastly facing a back tax fine. Has anyone been in the same situation as I am and how did you deal with it. Regards. Jas.
  2. Hi Gary. Got mine as well mate. Jas.
  3. Hi guys. I'm really struggling to find a clutch master cylinder for my my 1988 z31. I have tried everywhere. I thought I had found one on a parts site to be told after ordering it they were out of stock. I can get a slave cylinder anywhere but the master is proving to be a head ache. Any ideas? Regards. Jas.
  4. Hi Gary any update on the membership pack mate, not received mine yet. Cheers mare. Jas
  5. Welcome mate, I'm new here to, looking forward to seeing all the inspiring photos to get me off my arse and get my car back on the road. Jas
  6. Not sure mate, I would think so just curious really.
  7. Hi just reading the Haines manual for my car, a 1989 single turbo 2+2 zx, and they mention that there were 3 models, the sf, the gl and the gl-l model. What's the differences between these models. Regards. Jas
  8. Hi joely, yeah it's been a long time, I remember the day I first saw it for sale in a local garage. I paid £3000 for it back in 1998. I have always said I would get the car back on the road, my wife keeps on about getting rid of it but there's no chance on that, this car has a special place with me, I know there's a lot of work ahead but I'm up for the challenge. I think the main challenge is in findings spares for it. Not many firms stock them anymore. I'm glad I found this site, you guys will keep me motivated through the tough times ahead. Cheers. Jas.
  9. Thanks all, I'm really looking forward to driving the car again after 15 years. It's has a soft spot with me. Jas
  10. Hi all I'm jason, I'm from South Wales. In 1998 I purchased a 1989 2+2 turbo, manual transmission, etc. I drove it for a year then got a company vehicle, it's been in the garage ever since. Unfortunately she is looking a little worst for wear so I've decided it's time to spend some money on her and get her back on the road, gonna spend the summer working on her, will put up some pictures when I next pull her out of the garage, I know to start the breaks have seized, and the clutch pedal stays on the floor ( hopefully just fluid gone off). She has been started every year so hopefully engine all good. Speak soon Jas.
