Its the perception Alan! existing members understand the club status, but its the potential new ones we need......... to take the club forward. A mate of mine asked if there was a club for the type of car I have and I said yeah and he asked me what it was called, and I said its called that, and pointed to the 300zx.co.uk sticker in my quarter lights his reply was that doesnt sound like a car club but more then a website!!!

Morning Rich but dont you agree 300zx.co.uk does seem to read more like a website then a club! when searching for us on the interweb we seem to come up under 300zx forum! The z club sounds what it is .....but 300zx.co.uk does not sound like a club, what ever way you look at it:biggrin:

The renaming or branding of the club to mee seems a good idea. As Steve says, the current name does sound like a web site rather then a club and when speaking to members face to face they say "did you read what so and so put on the forum" etc etc I feel we should make this like more of a club then a forum purley because I see it as a club rather then just a forum and many others may feel the same way. Why not get a poll up and running and let the members decide:thumbup1:

I have had zeds for 25 years and if parts are required then the first "port" of call would be the companies affiliated to the club. Service or machanical parts Mike or Luke for performance or styling! I have used both for 25 years and found them very knowledgable on the marques of z I have owned. I feel ebay has killed off the likes of danny and Smithy and will only get worse as the economic climate digs in and people hunt down cheap parts from eastern countries:crying:

Standard Steve...want 555 but always to late when they come up for sale. Had a lovely set of 550s to fit but when I bought silver streak and sold the yella one, sold them to carmad. Sods law now I have the yella one back!
