......Good idea to remove wings and front bumper? My car is pretty mint and paranoid that I might damage it:blink: When I removed the engine from Silver Streak I was sooooooooo scared that I was going to damage something it took me twice as long. Would there be any negatives to doing this????????? or just get on with it and unbolt every thing and get it out the way:sweatdrop:

Not sure I have one but something weird happened today. On the way to a car meet this morning, I was driving down the motorway next to my mate in his z [trying to compare speeds as his is reading waaaaay out] I accelerated away and thought I felt the clutch slip:huh: now this clutch in my car although fitted 5 years ago has only done less then 3k and its an rps street max with lightened fly etc. I am looking at premature clutch failure?????? There was a awful asbestos smell when driving home, but all works fine!! I can accelerate hard and nothing really weird! Also may be getting paranoid here, but thought the gear shifts were very sloppy! but again after being parked up for a couple of hours all felt ok on the way home! Any thoughts? Also possible dodgy elecs but sometimes when at lights and rev the car its just flat not missing but like a bad flat spot!! Dave

UPDATE My mate called in lunchtime with a stethiscope and listened to injectors found the one for no 6 not going .....cleaned connectors all running sweeeeeeet.:clap: Thanks for all the guidance:thumbup1: he also asked me to tell you much appreciated for help. Dave

I have a pair of uk doors with the swage/stripe line removed, and have someone interested in them.....but he has an import with belts attached to the doors and all his interior has been redone in white leather to suit the import belts coming threw the door cards, can he use my doors without the need to re-do his leather???? Dave

Hi peps The guy who has silver streak has just finished refitting his engine and he also did a hicas delete with na pump etc.......but he cannot get the pas belt fitted without this being on a angle! is this normal with the hicas delete???? He just came around mine to have a look at my set-up [as I have also got the lightened pulley set up] and my belt isnt on an angle!!!! any thoughts:confused1: Dave

In my opinion [for what its worth] I cannot see a problem with my plate........its clear and consise, and I am not trying to make it something its not! ie all these personal plates with large gaps and numbers made to look like letters!! Dave
