  1. That's good news buddy, i'll look forward to seeing it at the shows this year :D
  2. How cool is this, a camera inside the engine as it's running so you can see what happens :D
  3. Sorry buddy, doesn't ring a bell with me
  4. I think this is the problem, alot of the cars that have the most power in the country are still off the road being worked on or made one dyno run and blew up or had issues. SO if it's the most powerful cars on the road at this moment in time that could be a pretty impossible answer to find :) Full respect to Mac1 for his work, it's an awesome project but i've only ever seen it on the roads once when we did the north/south convoy meet 3 years ago
  5. For the third time now, snow might get in the way of me seeing the other half. It's really pissing me off now  She's been snowed in at work for 2 days now and we were hoping she'd come back tonight but looking at more snow coming down it looks like it won't happen again. Been 3 weeks since i last saw her now :(
  6. Officially the fastest time in the ZClub Hall of Fame is Gavin Balmer running a 300zx 2+2 doing an 11.387 quarter mile and 121.79mph terminal on NOS and Slicks. Unfortunately as far as i know he passed away a few years ago, that was running a chevy small block but no idea on power. It's alright having these highly powerful cars with lots of potential BHP but the only place where BHP counts is on the drag strip, 800bhp isn't going to make a good track car and you're never going to be able to use it on the roads so make it count - GET DOWN THE POD :D
  7. That looks fooking lovely :D
  8. Cool :D Always good to see these hidden gems :D
  9. Especially in that green, was the best colour they came in IMHO
  10. Looking good there buddy :D
  11. Always, always wanted one of these though:
  12. First one was my parents car i learn to drive in, white 1994 estate 2 litre, did 198,000 on the clock without a change of clutch Second was my V6 1992 which after 2 weeks i hit an flood and wrote the front end of the car off stripping 20 foot of fencing off and nearly plummeting 60 feet onto the M42. Car still started and drove fine but the panel damage was so much it wasn't worth fixing. Third was "The Batmobile", black saloon, full rs bodykit, cossie wheels, black leather, awesome car but dinted the wing and didn't seem worth the fixing for the price £250 quid! Next was a 1980s 2.3 v6 Estate with 80k on the clock and one owner, was so completely mint i didn't dare keep it and sold it for a profit of 300 quid. Next was a white saloon, i only borrowed that for a while and the same with the next one. And the seventh was the scorpio (it's still a granada! just different panels) 2.3 ultima. Brilliant car, can't sing it's praises enough, 40,000 miles in 12 months and the only thing that needed replacing was the rear tyres and one of the coil packs but that stayed with my parents after I moved in october :( I do miss it

  19. Lovely work their buddy and a nice little bargain too :D
  20. Well lets put it this way, gay or straight, single parent families or 2 parent families it doesn't make any difference these days. It's the old nature/nurture debate, having gays parents doesn't send you gay as Johnyboy correctly stated, he made his own choice from having a "normal" family. Most homes are broken these days, and have been for many years. People have affairs, people fight and argue, there's violence in the family home which children is witness to. I'm a straight, none smoking male who hopes he can settle down and raise a family with his other half. If i was gay if i settled down with a guy i'm going to be no worse a parent than if i settle down with the missus. The child would make his or her own mind up. Smoking only affects your kids if you do it with them there, drinking around your kids affects them only if you get them to drink with you in the long run. On the other hand you could say it makes them want to do these things later but i can honestly say my dad smoked all through my childhood and I never felt the urge to follow in his footsteps. It's in your genes. If you're gay, the way your brain is wired might or might not be passed on to your child same as if you're an alchoholic or smoker. So what i'm ultimately saying is if you're gay, you won't "turn" a kid purely by nurture just broaden their view on life and give them the choice to do what they want.
  21. As i said too, if they're brought up with it from an early age and taught that gay relationships only suit some people and you have to work out yourself what you are then that's fine. To go from straight relationship parents to gay foster parents may alienate the child from the parents and ultimately may end up destroying the child's life at school. I've voted YES that gay parents should be able to adopt, if you're attracted to men instead of women does it make you any worse a parent but i disagree about the story that stella's raised
  22. I think if a child is brought up in a happy loving gay relationship then it's not so bad but to go from straight couple to gay couple is going to seriously affect the children. Same as stella, nothing against gay couples as i know a few but I think in terms of a child taken from family it's going to be hard enough to cope with separation from their family let alone deal with something totally alien to their way of thinking.
