  2. Hi, push the button on the control panel the electrical light goes on but the blower doesn't work, if left on the blower sometimes kicks in but just for a few seconds and then switches off, I did have the zed serviced and asked the garage to change the blower but they said it wasn't the blower and it would have to be checked by the auto electrician, maybe is there a solenoid or something like that ? thanks for reply
  3. 7. Hi All, After 5 years on my drive and to be honest not the best care for my zed, then with a great deal of help from members of this site my zed is back on the road today yippee, I would just like to thank all for their help and as I said before please don't scrap your motor. Cheers

  9. and after I dropped the fuel tank on Monday which was fitted today and then the re-test he said I needed this battery strap, do you think he is being a bit awkward ? bearing in mind his original decision ?
  10. Hi mate, hows things, and yep tank was fitted by the garage and this is a caution to all zed owners - one of the garage owners on the original MOT told me the car was un repairable because of the welding, it was only after further consultation with another fitter that they, the garage owners, asked a 'proper weleder' to have a look and he said that he could repair the car, which was completed on saturday
  11. Hi, no pics at mo, zed still in the garage and to be honest it does need a re-spray, thanks for looking for the clamp, I am not a mot fitter, and although I did my apprenticeship on Caterpillar equipment many moons ago lol, not really sure if that my zed failed mot coz of battery strap ?
  12. Hi all, Owned zed for over 15 years, it was in my garage for the last 5 years and only recently decided to put it back on the road, a little welding (my fault because I never fully covered the car) a leaking fuel tank, which I located through dave, a member of this club, who introduced me to this site, and very grateful to him, thanks again. I just need a battery strap to finally get the beast back on the road, any help would be appreciated, Thanks
