  1. I have a set Zeit rims on mine. Not miles off what you were looking for in design. /M
  2. Wherever I can avoid it, I would. I talked to Mike anyhow. All good. Thank you very much. /M
  3. Hi, I'm having no luck with spurious parts and long delivery time frames from the local Nissan dealers in Ireland. I've got a '95 JDM spec Fairlady, that I need a upper suspension arm bushing on the front left side and front bushings on both front trailing arms. Has anybody any suggestions, where I can get these parts ? I need these to get the car tested. /M
  4. Thanks for the warm welcome. My APEXi RSM arrived today, so that should sort the limiter. Just have to find an english manual. Bit iffy with the japanese one in the package :) /M
  5. Ah sure, but I wouldn't count that as a mod :) .. They're Zeit rims and actually match the car quite nicely. /M
  6. I'm near to the Z world myself. From looking and comparing the SWB and LWB versions, the SWB just looks a bit odd. As if the rear is pulled up. But that's maybe just me. I do agree with most in the thread here though, that if you're looking for something like a race car or the likes, it's the SWB. The LWB is more like a Grand Tourer. It's also nice to have the extra space behind the front seats. I definatly agree on that the Targa or T-top is the best choice. Again, personal preference. I didn't want a turbo for two reasons: one being the cooling issues that can happen with the TT, the other and most important issue being the turbos muffling the sound. When I went and bought my Z, I bought on 4 factors: manual, condition, Targa and non-turbo. In that order. So what I ended up with was a LWB 2+2 Targa manual non-turbo Fairlady Z with only 86000 km (or 53k miles) on the clock and a full service history both here and from Japan. Normally I would also have preferred a leather interior, but the cloth interior with the electric seats, that's in mine, are just perfect. So I won't complain. /M
  7. Thanks. Forgot to mention, that it's a 2+2 and manual of course. Wouldn't want it any other way. /M
  8. Howdy, I'm new to the forum, new to the Z world and actually also new to Nissan .... well at least when it comes to ownership. My garage consists mostly of german and a bit of swedish and french machinery. Only when it came to motorbikes, I've always kept to japanese stuff. There are very few japanese cars, that give me an itch, that needs to scratch and the 300ZX definatly was one of them. My previous exposure of Nissan has mostly been my brother who has a PS13 Silvia with S15 nose conversion. As of Sunday, I'm now the happy owner of a fairly low milage, well minded Fairlady Z from 1995. It's a 3l non-turbo T-top. The only mods being cat-back stainless steel backboxes from Trust and a K+N airfilter setup. The previous owner also supplied the original backboxes, but I don't think I would stick them back on. The little beasty has only 86000 km on the clock, is an original JDM Fairlady Z and has been in Ireland for the last 3-4 years. She was however dry stored after being brought in and only taken out of hibernation a year ago. The condition is near to factory fresh and there are only very minor niggles, that needs attending. The T-top is 100% leak free, which is nice. The previous owner, which I know, has been very caring for the car, so she's been looked after and came also with the full service history from Japan. Anyhow, for now, don't expect too much activity from me .. as I'm probably out there on the road somewhere listening to the rumble from the V6 :) /M
