Cannonball Run
The Eurohoon 2005 was a hoot, treking across Europe (at speed) with a group of like minded Car Fanatics, I still have the route book and accomodation list. check the Hoon Video's out http://www.pistonheads.com/xfer.asp...ideo.asp?id=144 :hyper:

got my RAF info pack through
As Angus says, think about what you will do when you eventually leave the services, pick the job that will give you a trade or apprenticeship as a Aircraft Technician. I was in the Fleet Air Arm (Navy's equivalent to RAF) left in 2001, now working for Airbus. Go for it, its a great life if it suits you, it can be Hell if it doesnt suit you.

Cannonball Run
I went on a cross Europe trip earlier this year with 17 other super cars (TVR's, Porsche's, Aston Martin, Ferrari, Lotus etc) not so much a Cannonball, but an organised free for all across Europe :hyper: see here http://www.eurohoon.com for info. check the Hoon Video's out http://www.pistonheads.com/xfer.asp?url=/video.asp?id=144 :hyper:

60k service done
My Zed has just gone over 60,000 miles, and I didnt know if the cam belt had been changed, so I decided to play it safe and have the 60,000 service done. I gave the car to Jason at (http://www.southwestzeds.com) for the work needed. Old Cambelt showed signs of wear (cracking etc) they can 'go' without warning. Big relief and piece of mind knowing its been done now.

SW Meets date suggestions...?
Would it not be better to have the meets first weekend of each month, as members that get paid monthly may not have much money by the end of the month, and not be able to attend (lack of funds)

Mmmmm, plucking up the courage to ask women out.
Women loke persistant guys, she could be seeing how keen you are (women are very devious creatures) go back tell her youve been patiently waiting for her to call, she will then either apologise (at this point you ask her to call you from her mobile while your stood together to make sure she has the right number, this will give you her number, without asking for it) or tell you to ?!55 off, in this case "do as your told" Best of luck. women are like buses, non for ages, then two come at once, we always end up getting on the wrong one. DoH !

A Big Thanks to Jason at Southwestzeds
A Big Thanks to Jason of SOUTHWESRZEDS for the amazing job he has done repairing my Zed, and the servicing carried out at the same time. The standard of work was superb and the customer support was outstanding, :hyper: I thoroughly recommend SOUTHWESTZEDS for any work you may require on your ZED. :nana2: You can see the results of the repair in ‘RIDES’ to see the damage I did to my Zed before Jason started the repair job, go to http://www.southwestzeds.com in the Gallery.
