it was near the top, just under the top pipe, it felt crusty inside :( but suppose could ave been rad. cheers

in the middle, i looked at it from behind drivers side wheel lookin forward, theres what looked like some kind cross member and was tricklin from there. I would gues below the cambelt area

OK, went to try what Mac told me over the phone about bleeding the rad, seemed to take ages to fill with water, then noticed puddle on the floor, underneath theres a nice steady trickle of water :( now I'm hoping that means one of my pipes has burst. After fillin it i squeezed one of the rad pipes and it crunched, i assume thats just coz its brittle and old and possibly whats causing the whole problem. Engine oil not milky, so hopefully headgasket ok All advice and wizdom welcome cheers Mike
