  1. Can you just smooth one?? Mines a UK so the nissan badge is set into the pannel ?
  2. I had a look at a guys 200sx where he'd put a manual geernob and leather gator on an auto, it looked good!! Just need to re-locate the overdrive button but the wire is about 25cm long iirc, only trouble would be it wouldn't lock in park or from going into reverse by accident etc as you'd have to have the selector button permenantly on [edit] thinking about it, you could mount the manual geer knob so that you just pust the whole lever down to go through park etc, hmmmmmm sonds like a plan to me!!
  3. up load pics on to hear ??? you can upload them when you post, go to manage attachments and browse your pc for the pic. Or you can get a http://www.photobucket.com account and upload them there. Then you just cut and paste the image info onto hear and eh voila
  4. You got a uk auto right?? Should be 9 Litres in Total, bu i guess i had some in the oil cooler too. Yours may be less as youl have oil left in the oil cooler pipes etc. Opie oils do 2 5 litre cans of good oil quite cheeply and its also the same stuff as the transmission fluid so the extra few litres are not wasted
  5. Greddy profec B Spec II boost controller fits nicely in the clock hole!!!
  6. Wheres that paper 300zx model you can print out and cut and glue ?? Cant find the thread ??
  7. Excelent, thank you Legrath!!! Will just put a profec II in there instead i think!!!
  8. Hi, theres a nut on the gearbox sump. Get the car up and level and drain the fluid through the drain plug (nut underneath), You can also take the sump cover off and check the seive for any particles etc. one of the traders on here can provide a new seive and a new gasket for putting the sump cover back on. You re-fill the box via the dipstick tube in the engine bay. Mine took just over 8 litres of dexron III oil.
  9. I remember reading a few threads regarding the clock not working but can't find them :headvswal Anyone know what the prob is as the stereo's working etc ?? Or remember where those threads are ?
  10. I followed that and it all worked perfectly. I did have the Apexi ones to put in though! :)
  11. Ah yes sorry guys forgot to say, its been since its not been used regularly and it has been sat outside since august really. I first noticed at Z fest at night with a tourch (had the motor running for loud music :D ) had it running properly for the first time since november at the weekend and it was a white smoke / steam (didn't smell bad) coming from both pipes at first but the nearside went away almost imediatetly, the offside pipe continued until hot. Doesn't seem to be using water or oil ? Other thing....It's backfiring out of that bank too every now and then!!
  12. When the car is cold i get a fair amount of white smoke from the drivers side exhaust pipe. It goes once the cars warm but you can see it at night with a tourch even when its warmed up ? Just wondered if this would be turbo related? Is there anything i can do now to prevent anything breaking ??
  13. Yeah!, like them ones!!!
  14. Look nasty imo, bit shiny!! Not sure they would last long
  15. Really? Maybe i'm confusing N/A to TT then ??
  16. i would think its the front as the gearbox's are different ??
  17. Happy Birthday!!!!!!!!!!!!
  18. Ok, Mine has the same. I fitted a boost guage and discovered im in safety boost. If you can find someone with a conzult it would really help. I checked.... Thermostat / water temp sensor Det sensor Boost solenoids / waste gates opening correctly all boost pipes in case of a leak changed the ECU (incase of internal fault) Turned out the boost solenoids are not getting power and its not my ECU so that pointed to an engine wiring loom problem on mine. im not changing the loom but fitting an aftermarket boost controller to bypass the wiring to the boost solenoid. Then i can have it off 7psi, low 10psi and high 14psi
  19. If you go to http://www.blast-cleaning.co.uk thats my dads company, they are industrial / blast cleaners. We would use a hot air gun and a scraper before sending it into a blasting bay which would remove the rest. Neolith methylene dichloride can also be used but don't get it on your skin cause it BURNS!!!
  20. Thanks guys!!!, No MOT but had a great drive, got the mr's in the passenger seat, the roof off, windows down (heater on max and heated seats on!!! :wack: ) and some sunshine....
