  1. Cheers, well I've decided I'm going to get it done. My tailgate needs a respray anyway, so going to do it all at once. Will get one when I'm out in Cali next week. :)
  2. Before my engine rebuild, mine used to smoke on startup. 2 of my bores were totally shot and I was getting chronic blowback into the intake system. But that was an extreme case.
  3. Depends what turbos you have in there now.
  4. You gone the de-cat route....?
  5. That's a really neat spoiler. :)
  6. Gutted for you mate! On a side note, what spoiler is that on yours?
  7. You shouldn't own a 300ZX if you are looking at crap like that! ;)
  8. ...actually no I wouldn't. Looks spot on. Any pics of it from directly behind from a distance?
  9. I really like that. Although I probably would have had it the other way round. Nice work that.
  10. Just notice your lip spoiler mod. Liking the 3rd brakelight. Where did you take that from?
  11. Not a fan of metaflake at all. But it's quite a subtle one I guess and that's a lovely finish you have there. Nice work.
  12. Metaflake??.......hmmmmm, I'll reserve judgment... Glad you have it back on the road. I know what it was like when mine was off the road. Having yours off for that long must have gotten you quite frustrated. Especially with the summer we've had.
  13. Deffinately. Although I intend on spending another £5k on mine in odds and sods. Retrim, complete suspension upgrade, few bits of bodywork, possibly Stillen bumper extensions, better brakes maybe.
  14. I had a block. But it was scored. Unless you're going to sleave them and fit new pistons, then most likely not worth it. Although I think Jason may have junked it for me. I know of another one which needs sleaving.
  15. Fookin 'ell! Well done that man!!! :)
  16. Was something topless said... here
  17. LOL!!! No one's not saying he doesn't do a good job! I know that he does...I just don't understand the price!!
  18. Wouldn't go near that headset. Not heard the best of things about them. Sure I've seen a few threads on here about the cheap ebay HGs that went wrong on them. Didn't T-Pots car go wrong with them on or something?
  19. No, just heads need pressure testing, refacing plus renewal of the stem seals etc... ;) Not saying it's not good...I'm sure it is. Just don't know how it can be done so cheaply.
  20. AFAIK, the SMZ got a modified inlet and and free-er flowing exhaust. It was also only available in North America. So the chances of someone driving one are very remote. Might be better asking someone on the US forums. They were only 2PSi over standard I think.
  21. Still don't understand the price when you have to lift the engine to do the work.
  22. Still too new to get the amount of crap box TT Zeds there are about.
