  1. Sounds like an N/A to me. So you'll not really be able to replicate the sound to that degree. Personally think N/As with large exhausts sound a bit raw and unrefined. Still sounds nice though. But prefer the note of a TT.
  2. Least you'll know it'll be put back together properly this time Glenn.
  3. Just use common sense and don't drive it hard if you're low on fuel and trying to find a petrol station. Not only will you cool the turbos down without having to sit outside the petrol station with the engine on for 5 minutes, but you'll have less chance of getting fuel surges and running the car lean. If I know I have to stop and turn the engine off within the next 'X' amount of time/miles, I'll drive accordingly :)
  4. How about 'The Song with no name'? :wack:
  5. Z related discussion...NOT. ;) Glad I don't live in Manchester and never will! LOL Bristol's pretty horrific during peak hours. Transport here sucks. I live in a suburb of Bristol which has a terrible transport link with the city. I never use the public transport here and never will. Best place I've EVER been to for public transport is Munich in Germany. It's modern, efficient, clean and not expensive. EVERYTHING runs like clockwork, even between modes. The trams always meet up on time with the trains, the underground always meets up with everything else. If anything is more than a minute late, everyone is left wondering what on earth is going on as is seldom happens.
  6. ^^^  Loving the anti-dump valve brigade! Long may it prosper! :duffer:
  7. Agreed. I'd pay £10k for a good 99-spec TT manual. Good 96/97 TT Manuals models are still going for close to £7k!
  8. Ace, someone's taking on a long wheel base Renault Trafic hicube!! LOL In true TG style.
  9. You first! :p
  10. Great pub in Portishead called 'The Royal' overlooking the severn Estuary. Car park might not be big enough for a large meet though.
  11. Ivor is more apt. He has twin Blow off valves...did nothing for his performance or credibilty either! :wack:
  12. Then there's shipping, duty, licencing etc ontop of that I'd imagine. So closer to £13k - £14k once on the road?
  13. No one sends cash in the post anymore do they? LOL Tell a lie, my Nan does at birthdays. hehe
  14. Spending you money wisely then. :)
  15. All info you'll need is here mate.
  16. SUBSCRIBE YOU CHEAP SKATE Then you could PM him...
  17. Jesus the depreciation! That's already lost nearly £200,000!!
  18. You don't need one at all as they don't do anything other than make a sound like a HGV airbrake release.
  19. Exactly. Fuel costs will never come down and stay down. Futile IMHO. Maybe that sounds defeatest, but it isn't. It's reality whether we like it or not.

Is that why you're getting everyone to GO to the IOW then? ;)

Yes there is, but it's not legal!
  22. One of those track days in a Ferrari or something? Or did the company that used to do those go into liquidation?
  23. Awful aren't they. BTW, I didn't click on the link, just noticed the URL.....
