  1. Smeg make kitchen equipment yes and it's very good quality I think. Italian I think.
  2. Tell you what I used to own...or rather was given. When I used to work for the MOD about 6 years ago, there was a chap there who I worked with who had loads of legal cars just sat doing nothing. He gave me an H plate 3.0 Senator Auto to have as a daily driver and I bloody loved it. Autos are great as every day mile munchers. I'd still have an Auto, but for a fun machine I certainly would not.
  3. PMSL...awaiting comments relating to sexual odors...
  4. Oh right I see. I still like to be able to hold a gear longer, if entering into a corner, to select the required gear whether engine braking or not....it's there if you need/want it.
  5. :nelson: :mac1: :x: :o :nana2:
  6. Really? One thing I hate is not being in control of the engine. As a preference, I'd still sooner drive a manual round a track than an auto and I've owned both.
  7. Do you mean 'isn't'? I couldn't drive an auto on track. Need engine braking on tap!
  8. Similar, but smaller lump to the GTO/3000GT then. Still a fast machine. But probably a pig to work on....more so than the Z from what I've read.
  9. Crikey Mike. Well, good luck with the future.
  10. Depends which model. Early ones had either conventional auto or 5 speed manual iirc.
  11. In that case, yes, but not an Auto and didn't really 'give it any'. Nice to drive though. Always liked the Galant. Is the earlier 2.0 V6 or the newer 2.5? Heaven forbid if I had kids/gits, I'd be hunting for a Legnum/Sigma (estate) VR4
  12. Galant or GTO/3000GT?
  13. Although this thread is slanderous to dump valves.... :nelson:
  14. Really? Oh dear, that bad is it? Vagisil 'should' sort that out Sarah.
  15. I bet that actually is the translation for C U Next Tuesday!
  16. Brilliant! I'll get that made out in fablon and stick it all over the doors on my Z...or even a lower back tattoo!
  17. Apparently not, they will fit the TT bellhousing according to something I ready from Andy Duff.
  18. You can still fit it then. Just get an N/A clutch and space out the starter motor.? Not sure how long a standard N/A clutch would last though. Not long I'd imagine. lol
  19. You can, but I think you'll have to reposition the starter motor as diameter is different.
  20. Weather has been crap, so more people have stayed in...this is the first weekend (which we've just had) of next to no rain and sun we've had in some months now. Might have been why post counts were down?
  21. Doubt it was the one above. The Avus was build in the early 90s as a pure conceptual design only and AFAIK, only a dummy one and the above were ever made. The real one is on show at Audi's museum in Germany.
