  1. Unless you're planning on fitting a really big FMIC, that front bumper will look pretty grim. Reminds me of this.
  2. It is quite a nice touch. I had thought about different finishes etc and may have gone for something slightly different to how I did mine if I had a different colour. IMO, suede/alcantara is the way forward (maybe with perforated leather centres). When/if I build another Z, it will have a suede/alcantara interior. :)
  3. You can buy the material already done like that?
  4. LOL @ the round thing stuck on the glove box and is that Amp or whatever it is sellotaped to the centre console!?!?!!?
  5. I didn't say it wasnt a strosek rear bumper. It just looks like one for a non wide-arch kit as the fitment of it is pretty poor.
  6. It is quite nice, but the rear bumper fitment is wrong, looks like that's a non wide arch strosek bumper. Front bumper and grill are pretty ugly. But the rest is very nice. Yes the removal of the fieldmouse vent makes is so much more appealing. The first thing I'd do to ANY Strosek kitted Z would be to get rid of it.
  7. 'Silly Daddy' hehe! Car looks great mate. Yup, Nissan designers did a near-perfect job when designing the Z. Can't be improved on really.
  8. Nope, the engine is shared with Saab. It's a good engine anyway. My Leon is 2 and a half years old and it's gonna hit 100k next month and there's absolutely nothing wrong with it. I've meticlously maintained it and if this Vectra has got a FSH, then the mileage should really be taken with a pinch of salt. Most of it is likely to have been motorway mileage anyway. Very little stress on the engine and other components.
  9. Narrr, don't think so. Was hovering around the 70 mark. Just wondered. All doors and windows shut.
  10. Jimmer has a new sat at his workshop and showed me them the other day. Quite a few people run with them and they are better than stock as we had a pair sat side by side. I'd run with them. The material and casting look fine to me.
  11. Actually, if you buy 2fast2cool manifolds, they are rip-offs/copies of AMS, they even have AMS branding on the side! LOL
  12. Welcome to the club! 1996 huh? Nice, not too many newer models about. As for the clutch, if it's a stock one, then they can smell a bit and slip occasionally when warm and/or abused.
  13. I'd imagine most, if not all radiators are sub-contract manufactured anyway. So big name brands might not be as far ahead in quality as lesser named brands.
  14. Was along the lines of Brian shagging police officers or something.
  15. My word! A moderator was moderated! Where did Brian's silly post go!?
  16. Saw one of the Renault Master speed camera vans earlier. The ones with the heavily blacked out rear windows. You have 2 small ones at the tops of the doors and the two larger ones on the main part of the doors. If all these are closed up, does this mean the unit is not in operation? The ones I've seen, the two little flaps at the top are usually open with the equipment there.
  17. If there's a Veilside bumper smashing session going to take place then I am there to film the event for youtube!
  18. Most of my car is as I want it. Few little odds and sods to do. Have some new HICAS arms for the back. Just a new chip and a boost upgrade left really. Shock horror, I might actually eliminate the HICAS.
  19. Nooooooooo don't do those! They don't match the fog lights!
  20. it's only Tuesday mate!
  21. Thought something was amiss! lol :)
