Other than trim the surround, I don't know. I'd leave the surround off and push the unit in as far as it'll go. I'm not too into ICE either. Like you, my speakers crackle and fart. Must change them. Have quite a high powered head unit in there.

BTW, it's only the rear speakers that vary in size. Either 6x4s or a round speaker, not sure what size, maybe 15cm? With a chassis mount. I have these in mine.

Ok, so it was the SW meet today near Bristol at Sasha and Leigh's pub....what a fine spread they had for us. We were slightly bemused why, when most of the food had been cooked that PK1 was still sat there patiently whilst we all tucked into our lovely BBQ pub grub and he just sat there and watched. Our frustration was soon eased as a 72 ounce steak that had appeared on the BBQ was finally served up for PK. 'Where's my knife and fork' he growled... He used the carving knife/machetti and 3 plastic forks....all for reinforcement you see. ....and he's off!! Getting a bit tired, but nothing that PK can't cope with. Feck it....he picks up the whole slab of what's left...... All washed down with 3 litres of Cola's finest! He did eat the lot as well!!!!!!!!

Neither. Don't mind rugby that much, but cannot stand football. It is as boring as the interior from a 1978 Austin Princess, but that's not what gets to me. Curling is about as interesting, but what Curling does not have, is all the hype, so you can ignore it. Football is like Christmas, it's thrust in your face even if you want to get away from it all. If you look at the Sun for instance (crap paper, but it's an example of one of the sadder tabloids). It has about 3 pages on current affairs and things of national and international importance. Yet the back 10 pages are devout to the 'so called', beautiful game. A game so beautiful that people have brauls at the end of it, players spit, punch, kick each other and get sent off the pitch. It's like football has been drilled into the British physicie as being the most important thing in British culture. I don't hate the game itself, I have no interest in it, I just hate what it's about.

The thing is, we are a member of the EU, we just do not operate with the Euro. There already is free trade between the UK and Europe, so joining the euro would in no way be beneficial to us.

I hope not and I seriously don't think the UK government are that stupid. All one has to do is take a look at how Germany now is since signing up for the Euro. Much like the UK, Germany had a very strong economy before joining, now it has one of the highest unemployment rates and recessions in Europe. Something the government will not want to see happen here.
