  1. It's calmed down now a bit. All the angry people have left. Probably down the pub pumping noxious gasses into their lungs... *JOKE *disclaimer before people starting getting angry again* ;)
  2. You do realise that if that had come up for sale a few months ago, I would more than likely have bought that!!
  3. .....or you're just hiding that fact from your wife/girlfriend. My boss smokes about 15 a day and he has done for about 20 years...his wide still doesn't know! He has shares in Orbit!
  4. I rarely go to the pub. I'd very much like to. Lack of funds at the moment and not wanted to feel sick keeps me indoors. You do seem chilled out and your opinion/view is a well worded one. PMSL @ Kay I had to fight to come up for breath when saying this sentence! Not sure how true to life it is, but it made me laugh.
  5. A respectable gent. :)

Maybe that's a good idea...! LOL I'll get moaned at by white-zed for whoring again though if I do!! LOL ;)

4 weeks warning? LOL ;) Nice to have it outside of Bristol. Gives all members a chance to move about AND a nice change. :)
  8. That just won't happen. Same goes for the £4000 a year tax on anything over a 2.0 It's mainly chinese whispers or things they've thought of doing. Banning motorbikes will be against their green policy if anything.
  9. Hmmmmmm see my comments earlier about selfishness. ;) Yes, agree on dog 5hit, which is why there is a £1,000 fine for caught letting their dogs found in public.
  10. No, that's over exaggeration and is a backlash for the whole thing really.
  11. To be honest, are you surprised they are doing this? There's not hiding the fact that Britain's roads are crammed to breaking points. I don't agree with it per say, but it's better than just leaving it as it is. Cameras though, I do agree with you on that point and very strongly. But there's nothing wrong with England, if that's all that's wrong with it, then it's a diamond. I've been to some dreadful impoverished countries with little or no human rights, road surfaces that look like lunar landscapes, no health service, no decent transport infrastructure. We’ve got it very very good in this country. Let's not feel too hard done by here. :)
  12. PS, I was watching some MPEGs of your car at Legrath's earlier.
  13. No smoking though!! LOL ;)
  14. Not any need for that though is there as it's not a blanket ban.
  15. Yes, but why do the smokers feel the need to sit in a pub and stink it out? The argument swings both ways and the fact that it's unhealthy surely must indicate that something should be set in place to protect the non-smoker. I do totally understand the view of the smoker though and understand that it must seem really harsh. But they are not banning smoking, they are simply stating that it should be done without the infringement of others. Which is fair, if you want to smoke, then fine, there are others that will not want the smoke in their face, so respect their wishes. There are arguments for both and it's a 50/50 win win situations as far as winning the arguments go, but because I am a non smoker, I am happy about it. :)
  16. No I know. Most in here are cool. It's just a discussion which some are wanting to turn into a full blown argument. :)
  17. BEANS!!!!
  18. Should be free any of those days Dave. :D Put my name down. :)
  19. Fine words there Richard. Seems there are a few of them in this thread. ;)
  20. Why's that then? Just because I like the fact that when I go out, it'll mean I won't get loads of foul stenching smoke in my face?
  21. Agreed....as I said earlier... :)
  22. That's why they are increasing police powers. I do agree though, but currently, there's little the government can do than increase fuel duty. You just can't ban cars, it's not feasibly possible.
  23. Heres the thing. I don't give a poo if you drink yourself into a stupor every night. You drinking 50 pints doesn't pickle my liver. Can't say the same for smoking though. This hard done by argument is continually rolled out when banning smoking is mentioned. "Oh, next they'll be banning us from drinking / vvanking / watching TV". Cobblers. :)

PJ thinks I'm running about 13 or 14. Legrath's driven both and thinks mine pulls harder. But I do suffer from a bit of lag, so initial pickup is not as good.
