All those Suzuki Swifts are sat in one of the compounds near my office. They came in on a car transporter last week. Thought they may have been using them for a commercial, but saw what they did to them last night.

I do remember a purle wide arch MantaV8 some years ago...not the same person is it? This is NOT the same car, but a MK1 Cavalier Coupe....basically identical to the Manta. This one has a Zender wide arch kit on it. :)

That one's had the original 1.8 CIH engine turbo charged. Not mental power, but it utilises all the original components pretty much. There's a few on the continent running around with 3.0 straight 6 24v engines. Should be able to cram a Lotus Carlton engine in there I would have thought as they are basically the same engine.

Cheers pal. :) I like some of the old skool Opel/Vauxhalls. Quite partial to the Manta, I also like the Monza GSE, Lotus and GSi Carltons, Firenza and Opel Ascona coupes. Much of the newer stuff doesn't really interest me though. I have a MK4 Astra as well at the moment and I hate it. Getting a brand new MK5 soon which are quite a bit nicer. Here's a Manta I really like.

Nope, I sold it last summer. Was due to change it a few years ago, in and out of work until recently, so lack of funds meant I had to keep onto it for a while longer. It wasn't bad to drive. Got quite a bit of attention, went fairly well and sounded good....not too loud, but a nice V6 burble coming from a topless Astra was nice (and uncommon), especially through tunnels. :)

What happened to your rear bumper pal? Looks like you had a wings west extention on it. Really like the look of it in your avatar pic with the original rear lights.

Some cars I've owned, no particular order and not all of them as I've owned about 20 cars. Astra Belmont SRi Cavalier GSi Few years ago, I bought a J reg 1.4 Golf...worst car I've ever owned. But I paid £90 for it, so tried to kill it. Seen here trying to drown it in a river that I thought would be fun to drive through. Citroen ZX 16v. Great little car, handled well too. Bought an Astra convertible when I was about 20.... Minging thing... ....fitted some bits and bobs and a Calibra V6 engine and turned it into something fairly nice. Cavalier 1.8...my runabout until recently
