Hi guys I will be taking the Z for a trip to the famous Nurburgring end of march so i gotta do a dam good service on it so i thought a nice new set of shiny spark plugs wouldnt go a miss but im not sure which flavour to go for. HKS seem the most expensive but i do know that price dosnt nesecerely mean they are the best and you tend to pay more for the name so any advice on this subject would be greatly appeciated and supplier and price would be good too!! I have Nissan datascan that i use on my Z via the serial port on my laptop but i now have a new laptop which only has USB ports so I have no way of conecting it, I have tryed using a `serial to USB` converter but it dont seem to work. Does anyone have a data cable with USB for sale or know anywhere i can get one?? Cheers guys

Does anyone else have the problem conecting datascan to the laptop via a "serial to USB" conector?? It worked fine on my old laptop which had the serial port but my new laptop only has USB and although i have a converter(with software) it just dont bladdy work??

I had my chip fitted by Zedworld a couple of years back and it certainly made a big diferents but i did have to upgrade the clutch shortly after although i dont know how worn it was before the chip. But i do highly rate Zedworld and they do offer good advise and good work is carried out.

Iv got mine by-passed with a resister at the moment but i plan on relocating a new knock sensor to the top of the engine mounted on one of the head bolts (I think this is a common mod)

Is it only possible to re-map the ECU if its a re-mapable chip thats been fitted??

Rich666 has PM`d me regarding a set of 2nd-hand Nismo 555`s that im considering buying, Glen- The 480 BHP is a missprint/Lie ha ha The car has been chipped i had it done at z-world by jeff but im not too sure what chip it is so Where is John Dixon or AndyP based?? and do they have a rolling road??

Cheers Paul, Im not going for stupid power(yet) I just dont like fitting standard parts so if i need to change anything then like to make sure there better than stock. Will the 555`s fit straight on with out any other modifications ie fuel pump??

Hi guys, just got my engine back in after changing the head gaskets and after linking it up to lap-top(via nissan datascan) i have noticed the seals have gone on a couple of the injectors and instead of replacing the seals im thinking of "up-grading" the injectors but have no idea what size to go for?? The car isnt highly modified other than a chip and exhaust but i do want to progress slowly so thought maybe start with the injectors?? Does anyone have any suggestions??

My ZX is fitted with Blitz dumpvalves and they have never seemed as loud as i imagined they should but on closer examination i noticed that the oridional recirculating valves are still also conected so its not releasing all presure to atmosfer, The question is why?? Is there a reason that the recirc`s are still conected or can i just blank them off?? Will it cause idoling problems? Any advise will be apreciated!!

If you take off the targa`s you will see a small hole near the front in the rubber and that has a pipe underneath it that runs all the way down to the front wings which is where it dumps the water. If you pour a cup of water down the hole and make sure it all disapears if it doesnt then that means you have a blockage in there somewhere,
