  1. All I have is a tt ecu, engine loom. Nothing else. So all I was going to do was put a tt fuel pump in, with a relay and hardwired 12v supply. So it just gets a on and off signal I'm guessing the fuel pressure regulator will look after keeping the fuel pressure correct, I imagine the stages are just to deliver more fuel at higher rpm? As the car is basically for the track. Hardwiring with no fuel should save weight and wiring complex and reduce fault finding in future.
  2. Sorry to bump a thread a little old I have been looking for some concrete info as to if you can run a stock ecu, with no fbcpu just with the pump hardwired at 12v?
  3. cheers guys, this is the project that i have picked up http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?152838-New-project/page2&highlight=s14+vg30dett Basically the next 6 months needs to involve going from knowing nothing about VG's. To building this into a competitive car for 2015. Biggest headache for me is basically wiring and just getting up to speed with VG do's and don'ts and common knowledge things that generally take a while to build up. Ill be getting the engine out this week and on a stand and start from there. So many questions at the moment but plan it just to get it running in nearly stock form. make sure that shes all good and the car is a reliable base to start from.
